Description

Cutchogue Beach Cottage on the North Fork of Long Island. It has 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds and there is a sleeping loft appropriate for children over 9 years old (one queen sized bed and one twin). Deck and backyard with gas grill, outdoor picnic table, fire pit, and tire swing. Brand new outdoor shower. There is one full bath and two connected living rooms with a working fireplace.The house is located in Fleet's Neck and is 5 houses from the beach and a small shady playground. The beach has lifeguards and bathroom facilities on the weekends. The ice cream truck comes at least twice a day. The house also has access to a private beach down the road. There is one adult bicycles and one child's bike.The beach is long and clear of breakwaters - great for running or long walks. There are two winding inlets on either side of the long beach which are great for kayaking and fishing. The house is located approximately one hour from the major airports and has fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, and washer dryer. There is wireless internet access and plenty of board games, children's books and adult puzzles. The house is actively used by the owner and family and so has family photos and personal items giving it a homey feel. Pack just your clothes and toiletries because everything you need is already supplied. The North Fork is home to hundreds of vineyards, quaint little towns, beaches, hiking, boating, fishing, antiquing, food destinations and is a perfect vacation spot for young and old. Lovely comfortable house with all amenities. Clean, well decorated, and very accomodating owner. . Located 5 houses from a private beach. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Owner's reply: Just for clarification, there are two beaches just a few minute's walk from the house: the Fleet's Neck private beach where the kayaks are accessed and where there is boat channel and access to a winding creek and the small town beach near the grassy shady playground where there are bathrooms and a lifeguard on the weekends. Both beaches are wonderful in their own ways and are easily accessible by foot so it's easy to go home for lunch or to fetch something forgotten at the house. Why can't I call Julie (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Julie (the owner) a message.

If Julie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
