Residence Arabesque Dahab offers luxurious unique boutique rental accommodation combining traditional Islamic features and modern open plan living. A small compound of two one-bedroom apartments and a three bedroom villa right in the heart of Dahab. We are centrally located in between Lighthouse and Eel Garden and therefore within only a couple of minutes walk to local beaches, dive sites, restaurants and shops. Built and furnished to an exceptional standard Residence Arabesque offers Islamic features throughout including traditional handmade floor tiles, hand printed fabrics and reclaimed antique iron work. Islamic arches link rooms providing modern open plan living and traditional domes create natural air-conditioning.The private gardens accessible from Garden and Villa Arabesque are professionally maintained and are a little oasis in the desert with date palms, olives, peach and fig trees. Hibiscus and Bougainvillea bring colour to the garden whist Jasmine provides the unique and memorable scent of North Africa. The spiral staircase leads to the roof terrace for panoramic views towards the Red Sea and Sinai Mountains.With a young family of our own we are very family orientated and can provide at no additional cost all the necessary equipment that makes travelling with young children more difficult.We offer a high standard of accommodation at competitive prices. There is free WIFI available to all our guests and our manager lives locally and is available to assist you during your stay.Villa Arabesque is a large two double and one triple bedroom villa, ideal for a group of friends or large family it comfortably sleeps seven. Ground floor The entrance room has large amounts of built in storage to hide away all your bags, coats, scuba diving/kite surfing kit and beach equipment. Double doors lead to a cosy living room, with two large windows facing the front garden area. This room has a sofa, antique oak rocking chair and bookshelf, TV/satellite receiver and DVD player making it the perfect place to relax at the end of the day.The large open plan kitchen/dining room (8x4 metres) is the heart of the villa with double doors leading onto the covered terrace and private garden. The kitchen is well equipped with black granite worktops, large gas oven, large fridge freezer, microwave, French coffee press and food processor. Cooks are welcome to request a more detailed inventory! A large dining table comfortably seats 6-8 people.The private garden which stretches around the villa is a little oasis in the desert with date palms, olives, peach and fig trees. Hibiscus and Bougainvillea bring colour to the garden whist Jasmine provides the unique and memorable scent of North Africa.The ground floor also has a downstairs cloakroom with w/c and washbasin.First floor A large staircase with octagonal dome provides a grand entrance to the first floor.The master bedroom with a/c, double bed, balcony and en-suite shower and w/c also has a beautiful exposed brick domed ceiling.There is a second double bedroom, with two large windows, domed ceiling and double bed. There is also a desk and chest of drawers. The triple bedroom contains one double and one single bed and a large wardrobe. There are also two large windows.All windows are fitted with traditional shutters to minimize light and noise disturbance at night.The large modern family bathroom has a large bathtub with shower, w/c and washbasin.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sophie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
