Perfect for rest and relaxation, sunning, surfing, diving, snorkeling and swimming, it's perfectly located just 3 minutes walk from Eel Garden entrance the start of the seafront cafés, restaurants and local market.

Styled by designers and artists, The Beach Retreat features locally sourced, up-cycled and re-cycled, hand made natural wood furniture and art which all celebrate the beauty of the beach and surrounding nature.

The location of The Beach Retreat is like no other. With the beach only 5 metres from your door, just step outside and walk into the crystal clear, fresh, clean and warm waters of the Red Sea.

Beach life is beautiful here and the sandy beach outside is a quiet and relaxing haven; perfect for sunbathing, paddling, swimming, snorkeling, beach combing and beach fires. Enjoy it by day and by night.

Swim out over the shallows and find yourself on the world class Eel Garden Reef, the drop-off where turtles, glass fish, clown fish and banner fish congregate around the technicoloured corals.

Walk just 2 minutes along the beach to find the fabulous beach restaurants of Dai Pescatori, Blue Beach and El Dorado to name but a few.

Walk a little further and you're at The Lighthouse, another of Dahab's famous snorkeling, swimming and sunning spots. Two minutes walk behind and you are in The Souk; a colourful and vibrant part of town where you can find all the supplies you may need.

There's The German Bakery, a well stocked and helpful pharmacy, many supermarkets, an off-license, a profusion of fresh food and drink and lots of fun with the super-friendly shopkeepers.

For a small charge, a private taxi service is available day and night to whisk you over to The Bay, Mashraba, or the beaches and snorkeling spots at Lagoona, The Blue Hole, Wadi Gnai and the 3 Pools. Just call or arrange a time and your driver will come back and collect you.

Getting around

Transfers from / to Sharm el Sheikh Airport (1 hour), Nuweiba Port (1 hour), Taba border (1.5 hours) are very easy to arrange. Simply contact us and we can easily take care of everything for you. Once in Dahab, getting around is very easy on foot and everything is within walking distance. To get to places faster just jump in a local taxi which are very inexpensive. To come back, just give your driver a call from the local mobile we'll give you to use while you stay with us. Here we also travel by camel, boat and 4x4 jeep, depending on what we're doing at the time : ) Come and experience for yourself !

How do damage deposits work?
