Owner's description:


The house was originally built in the historic village of Deia over 300 years ago. It has all the charm of ancient stone and pretty shutters and, as it is an old house, is designed to stay cool in summer. Deia is a spectacularly beautiful village and is nestled in the Tramuntana mountain range. The property benefits from panoramic views of the village and the towering mountains and, unlike many other properties in Deia, enjoys sun from morning ’til evening. The house is in the original village of Deia which is a protected area where swimming pools are prohibited. However, there is a beautiful outdoor shower for cooling off and the stunning Cala Deia is only a 20 minute walk or 5 minute car drive away. The property is surprisingly peaceful, considering it is in the village. Guests will benefit from the peace and beauty of the house and views whilst being centrally located. Notes on accommodation: Residents Parking Permit available for guests. The property has a strict no smoking policy. There is a safe with key in the closet of Bedroom 2. Outside: The property has three separate terraces. The lower terrace features sun beds, shaded by a jacaranda tree and a fabulous outdoor shower. The middle terrace is outside the kitchen and has an outdoor dining table as well as built in seating for relaxing and enjoying the views. The upper terrace can be accessed from the middle terrace via a beautiful spiral staircase or through the master bedroom french doors. This terrace makes a lovely cocktail/chill-out area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning on demand can be arranged. Bed linen and towels are included in the rental as well as white cotton waffle bathrobes. Other: Each bedroom features beautiful hand crafted wooden bed frames.
