Les Gites de La Touche are located in the French town of Pleudihen-sur-Rance, perfectly positioned between the centre of town and the picturesque hamlet of Mordreuc on the banks of La Rance. 3 self-contained and newly renovated cottages – La Souillarde sleeps 2-4, Le Chanvril sleeps 4 and Le Bois sleeps 4-6. Le Souillarde -Catering for up to 4 people - **PLEASE NOTE - This is the booking page for La Souillarde gîte only**

The gîtes are available on a weekly basis or minimum 3 nights depending on the time of year. For groups – family and friends, who would like to holiday together or gather for a special occasion, there is the possibility of booking all 3 gîtes, catering for 14 people in total.

Le Souillarde is a small cottage in what was previously the kitchen and maids quarters in a beautiful 200 year old Breton stone house. Newly renovated it is stylish and modern but retains features of it's former life. The living area is open plan, light and welcoming.

The gîtes are set in the countryside in walking distance to the village centre, Mordreuc and coastal paths. Mordreuc has a beach and little port and a local seal who can be found most days sunbathing on the beach or jetty!

There are large grounds around the gîtes and the surroundings are tranquil and peaceful.

La Souillarde gîte consists of;- Well equipped kitchen featuring electric cooker, underbench oven, fridge, coffee machine, microwave and toaster.- Large dining table- Cosy living area opening onto a courtyard- LCD TV and DVD player, stereo system- Wi-fi (included)- Off-street parking- Large bedroom on the 1st floor with a double bed. There is also a high quality sofa bed in the living room which can increase the capacity of the gîte to sleep 4 people in comfort. A cot can be provided if requested in advance.

- One well-equipped bathroom with shower and toilet.

- Washing machine and dryer.

- Heating is provided by a wood burner and ground source heat pump

- Pure cotton linen and towels are provided.

Local Area:Pleudihen-sur-Rance is a picturesque location on the banks of a river - La Rance. There are pretty coastal tracks meandering through the fields and along the tidal river. The area has a long history and there are many sites not far away making Pleudihen the perfect base to explore Brittany, with its sites of interests like Mont St Michel, Fort La Latte, Dinard, Cancale and Fougeres.

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst taking part in the Tour de Rance Vintage cycling event. Kate and Marc very welcoming, gite just what we needed, everything there that we required and clean, would love to go back, maybe for next years event!

What a pleasant surprise this gorgeous property was!! My partner and I enjoyed the lovely La Souillarde, at Les Gites de la Touche, in November 2015. The gite, grounds, surrounding countryside and towns were an absolute delight, with much to see and do. We enjoyed the tranquil surrounds on bikes, which were generously provided to us from our fantastically, wonderful hosts, Kate and Marc; who we cannot fault on a single thing! I would highly recommend this property to anyone, and will definitely be going back...hopefully in 2016!!

Kate & Marc welcoming hosts. Accommodation was ideal, very clean & all facilities there as described. Perfect for sightseeing in the Val de Rance & handy to get to other parts of Brittany. Local shops supplied all necessary foodstuffs etc. Watch out for 'Poteau' the goat, she's a sweetie !!

How do damage deposits work?

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kate (the owner) a message.

If Kate (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
