This superb property benefits from the most fantastic views of the Zezere river. The property is just a few steps away from the riverside in this astonishingly picturesque part of Portugal. The accommodation has been equipped to a superb standard and it has been presented to reflect the traditional, charming nature of the property. The property consists of two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The large kitchen and the three bathrooms help make the property a truly practical holiday home. The private terrace is large and it makes for the perfect environment to enjoy outdoor living.

“Beautiful house in a classic village overlooking the river”

Beautifully restored house in a small hilltop village. There is plenty of outside patio space overlooking a scenic river. Even though it is a compact village, it feels very private and we rarely saw anyone else and felt as though we had the town to ourselves. There are only homes and a church in the village, with a small grill on the edge. Groceries and petrol are several miles away but the roads are good and divided highways are easy to reach. You will definitely require a car and GPS is recommended. The house is on 3 levels with stairs. There are no bedrooms on the entry level so it is not a place for the mobility impaired. Also, the living room is upstairs with a fairly short railing (by US standards) so watch the kids and elderly. There are 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms attached- perfect for "non-family" groups. The owner and property manager could not have been easier to work with. They provided great prearrival information and met us at the house when we arrived. Contact the owner for additional photos, if desired.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
