This beautiful modern Apartment with slight sea and park views, is situated in a former hotel Block. The public areas of the building has maintained it's antique decor which lends a certain charm and nostalgia of it's former hotel days.The Block is now partly utilised for holiday accommodation and the other part as Retirement Residence. Located along Durban's down town beach front area.The apartment is perfect for couples, solo travelers, those who want to be in the City without the hassle of having to rent a car.

The warm Indian ocean and the pristine golden beaches are on your door step just one block away!!With its convenient location, the suite offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations. Free wifi in public areas of the building.

Getting around

Buses: The People Mover’s is much better and cheaper public transport and the bus stops right outside the Apartment. It’s route is in and around the city centre only. Rates are R5 per trip or R15 per day. bus departs every 15 minutes from 6:30-23:00. Metered Taxi: There are many of these parked outside the Apartment charging various rates and some can be very unreliable. I recommend guest to phone Eagle Taxi or Zippy Cabs who are reliable, safe, reasonable and offer a 24 hour service. Mini Bus: This is also a cheap way to get around the city centre and outside neighborhoods but beware as occupants are squeezed in and the mini buses usually play very loud music. For your convenience, keys can be left at Reception when you go out and collected upon your return.

A refundable telephone deposit is to be paid at reception if you wish to use the room telephone and the bill must be settled on checking out.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Germaine (the owner) a message.

If Germaine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
