Description

South Marina is a quiet walled village with cobbled streets, buildings painted in vibrant eastern colours bordered with palm trees. It is within 10 min walk from the stunning Abu Tig Marina and also walking distance to some of the beaches and Downtown.

The townhouse is in a building with 5 other properties and the pool/garden is shared with a similar building next to us.

This fully air conditioned 2 storey town house is modern, light and airy with 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The marble floors and staircases throughout give a welcome coolness from the heat of the day. Open plan fully fitted kitchen with eating and lounge area, french doors opening to a terrace with table and chairs for 'al fresco dining', leading you into the landscaped garden/pool area.

On the ground floor there is one double bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs there are 2 further double bedrooms, one with vaulted ceiling and a 4 poster bed. Bathroom. Also on this floor a second terrace with a table and comfortable seating.

Mid-stay clean and linen change can be arranged on request at a minimal fee as can the hire of a cot and high chair.

Transfers can also be arranged on request.

Set times for check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 12pm only when bookings are back to back. Every effort is made to be as accommodating as possible.

Fully fitted kitchen with all appliances including: dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave etc.

Property is fully prepared for guests arrival and also spare linen, bath/beach towels provided. Please note that representative may need to make a charge for excessive amount of laundry at the end of stay.

I have not much to add to the other reviews: This place is excellent value, extremely convenient located with less than 10 minute walk to Abu Tig Marina and around 15 minutes walk to Tamr Henna. The owner aranged an airport transfer for us at a very reasonable price. I will stay there again when I come back to El Gouna.

The townhouse was spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom is lovely with a four poster bed and vaulted ceilings. The pictures on the site are a very fair reflection of how the house looks. The swimming pool and grounds were tidy and very well kept. I found dealing with the owner was easy and she was always keen to ensure that we had all the information we needed. She has a rep in El Gouna who was also very helpful. He left us alone to enjoy our holiday but was always there if we needed him. I would happily go to this villa again.

Excellent house with a lovely shared pool. The house had everything we needed - we ate in a lot and the kitchen was well equipped. We spent most of our time sunbathing by the pool, which is shared by a few other houses, though we only ever saw 2 other couples, both retired. El Gouna felt totally safe and relaxed, clean and friendly. Not the constant attention like in other parts of Egypt. All we wanted is to be able to lap up the sun in the middle of winter in nice surroundings - and that is exactly what we got.

HI! We had the pleasure of staying at this property last month. The experience was just great. The property is very clean and extremely well-equipped with almost everything you will ever need, and more. We were 6 adults and we felt absolutely comfortable in the unit. The terrace is amazing and the pool is quite nice. I can't think of any disadvantages really. We are definitely returning next year, or maybe sooner. Highly recommended for families! Wishing you all a fantastic vacation :) B

How do damage deposits work?
