The Oasi del Fiumefreddo is a farmhouse vacation residence with 6 fully furnished apartments well located between Etna volcano and Taormina, it is at 600 mts from the beautiful beach Marina di Cottone (blue flag CEE for the unpolluted sea), it has easy access to all amenities, including local market, bars and excellent restaurants for eating out. The residence has a private parking and the garden has lounge area with tables and chairs, playground area for children, jacuzzi outdoor spa and external shower, a large barbecue area. The apartment, with 2 separated king sized sleeping rooms, fully furnished kitchen-living room and bathroom, have a big terrace with balcony, tv sat, wifi, self air conditioning/heating, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bed linens and bath towels. It is ideal for families seeking relax, for people want to visit all the attraction of the east coast (Taormina, Catania, Acireale, Giardini Naxos, Etna volcano..), for people want to swim in the cleanest sea of Sicily and for people wants to enjoy Taormina nightlife!

Every apartment ,designed with colorful atmospheres, guarantees a comfortable stay, it offers fully furnished kitchen-living room with pots, dishes, coffee maker, boiler.. refrigerator, self air conditioning/heating, TV sat, wifi, hair dryer, bed linens, iron and ironing board, duvet cover and bath towels. In the garden each apartment has his own lounge area for eating al fresco.

The big garden is shared with all the residence guests but each apartment has his own outside lounge area for eating al fresco looking at Etna volcano or Taormina view! Each holiday flat has its own private entrance and is situated in a way that each family is independent from the other. There is plenty of space for children to play safely and enjoy the out -life while parents relax or take a mid-afternoon siesta!

House rules

Kids can play safely in the garden, please we ask you to stay with them in the jacuzzi spa area. Pets are allowed but please respect neighbours and common areas. Please let ua know if you would prefer smoking or no smoking apartments .. we are glad to assign apartment according to your request.

No one there to meet us so we had to let ourselves in and hope we had the right apartment. Saw someone there only once during the week. Tried to contact owner when internet failed but no answer to tel call or text. Location suited us and views to Etna were fabulous. This would not be so from all the apartments. Car absolutely essential. Location would not be for everyone. 2 good restaurants within 15/20 minutes walk but nothing else. Apartment shabby and in need of improvement. EG: missing light bulb, toilet seat broken, electric sockets very dubious, shutters could not be opened fully in bedroom and kitchen, very few kitchen utensils, no chopping board . Satellite TV advertised but only Italian TV available. Required to remove rubbish, waste bin and toilet, but no additional waste bags supplied.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Vincenzo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
