Description

Shepherds Spring Cottages are located in the delightful grounds of 18th Century East Mills Manor, situated between the historic medieval town of Fordingbridge and the village of Godshill. Both cottages have been tastefully converted to comfortable, stylish, high standard accommodation, offering a secluded retreat in a peaceful location.Being within the National Park Boundary the area is ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding.

We allow 1 dog to stay in each cottage at a surcharge of £25.00 we sometimes accept 2 small breeds of dog but this is at the owners discretion please discuss this at the time of enquiry/ booking request.

We are able to provide a stair gate, high chair and travel cot please request these if required at the time of enquiry/booking request.

Both Shepherds Spring Cottages 1 and 2 may be booked, for larger groups wanting to holiday together.Outside each cottage has a fenced shingled sitting area. In addition there is a secluded grassed barbeque area with picnic tables available for both cottages. This offers great outside space for the family with views overlooking fields.

** We do offer a 2 person discount rate throughout low and mid seasons please feel free to ask for a quote for the same.

Please note that the 2 person discount rate only applies to 2 people sharing the double room downstairs and not using any other bedrooms or any of the upstairs of the cottage. If another bedroom is required the full rental price will be payable. **

A very lovely, comfortable, home from home cottage!! Walking distance into Fordingbridge, would definitely recommend for your stay in the New Forest.

We loved this cottage. So well equipped and comfortable. In a great location to explore the New Forest and not too far from the coast. Had a wonderful week and hope to return. Thanks Jo for the added extras too.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sarah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
