Description from owner

Make your holiday a fantastic experience, in the countryside by the sea in a tented camp. Whether you are a family or a couple, our amazing tents offer an idyllic setting to relax and have fun.

Bot-Conan has twelve “Archipel” safari lodges equipped with high-quality bedding and five “Atoll” tents fitted with futons. Installed on wooden decks with outdoor kitchen and table, all of our accommodations combine intimacy and close proximity to/harmony with nature.

Archipel lodges are directly imported from South Africa and include everything required to make your stay extra special.
One lodge with a king-size bed and furnished with vintage decoration provides the ideal romantic hideaway.
Family lodges feature two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two single, a large living area with an additional sofa, table and chairs.

Camping you say? No this is GLAMPING ! Beds have comfortable mattresses and duvets, linens and pillows are provided. We know you want to rough in, but up to a point: electricity is provided and wifi as well if you wish to stay connected! A small fridge will also keep your provisions cool.
Lodges are arranged in a field with direct view on the secluded beach of Bot-Conan. The site is fenced and children can play safely in the surrounding grounds and the beach is kid-friendly (no currents or big waves, shallow depth). High chair and baby's cot available are available on request.
Barbecue pit and private wooden picnic table will enhance this family experience.

Atoll tents combine the pleasure of camping in the wild and the comfort of a stove and a sundeck. After long days out at the beach, on the coastal paths or on your private deck, meet in the evening around the stove and enjoy a full comfort camping experience. Tents have four futons and warm blankets for you to get real cosy night's sleep. The outdoor kitchen and large sitting area on the deck provide the ideal space to enjoy an unspoiled landscape and share happy moments together.
Every tent is supplied with a sheltered outdoor kitchen, equipped with a two-ring cooker, a cooler and all the cutlery, utensils and tableware you need. There is also a small pantry for your food provisions.

Bot-Conan has two bath houses, located only few meters far from the tents they completely fit into the environment thanks to their green roofs and wood panels. They are equipped with flushing toilets, hot power showers, washbasins and outdoor dishes and laundry sinks. Bath houses are maintained several times a day so they always stay spotless.
After a swim in the sea, you will find this hot shower incredibly delightful!

We want you to enjoy this pristine environment: the site is car free and complimentary bikes are provided.

“Perfect campsite, beautiful beach....if the sun shines, could not ask for more!”

Site is lovely. Tent and facilities were good. Beach and coastline is beautiful and not too crowded. Owners charming. Plenty to do with the kids and great for rock pooling. If the sun shines, you could not ask for more from a family holiday.....

“Great glamping with plenty of space”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2015

Arnould's Bot Conan Lodge is a great place to accomodate families with young children who prefer a bit more high-end way of camping. The campsite is set up with not too many tents which gives you the feeling you are more in the mids of mother nature. The beach is more or less a private beach where the kids can swim safely. The camping features really clean shower afcilities, free bikes of good quality. When we were there new washers and dryers were installed, a new tabletennis table, a canoe, a nice fireplace outside and inside and a nice swing from a tree that the kids love. Free Wifi is available in the service building but of rather poor quality. Arnould is probably upgrading this to Paris standards as we speak because every day he added some new great features. Can't wait to come back and try the hot tup and sauna and the yet to be built treehouses.

“Absolutely Stunning Glamping Spot”

Reviewed 12 Jul 2015

Having traveled around the globe from Australia and this as the last stop on our tour, we had hoped for a great end to our trip .. and we were not disappointed. The property, tents and surrounds are amazing. In particular we were so impressed with all the attention to detail from the beautiful canvas tents to the showers and washing facilities. We loved the welcome bottle of local cidre (thanks Arnaud) and in fact brought some all the way back with us! Whether sitting on the beautiful little beach, exploring the nearby coves along the coastal path, or exploring the local villages, this is such a peaceful and relaxing place (albeit we were just before the summer rush). Arnaud and Arianne were great hosts with lots of great recommendations such as purchasing local seafood, eating at Chez Hubert (beautiful food, 5 mins away in Beg Mei) or riding one of the complimentary bikes to by fresh breads. pastry in the morning. We are avid campers and as far as camping goes this is a good as it gets in our books and we camp on the beautiful morning peninsula, Victoria Australia regularly as a comparison. Many thanks to a work colleague in the UK for the recommendation! A rare gem.

“A gem! Five stars. A wonderful holiday in a lovely place!”

This was an exceptional holiday. This is a wonderful business run by people who have a clear idea of what their guests want and do it well. Fun accommodation, very comfortable, very clean, glamping at its best I think. Hospitality perfect. Not crowded, lots of space, excellent facilities, very, very child friendly . Stunning location, easy to get to, driving here from Roscoff or St Malo easy and trouble-free. I will certainly be returning and would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. I came with a young family, and the green space, proximity of the beach and clear and safe swimming, and the lovely swing under the tree....just perfect!

“A little piece of heaven in Brittany”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2015

We've just returned from a wonderful week at Bot-Conan Lodge and everyone in the family can't wait to return! For our first trip to Brittany we could not be more pleasantly surprised, camp is located right on a lovely beach, with clear and shallow water. Weather was beautiful and every morning the beach was ours, kids playing for hours with the sand and looking for crabs in the ponds while we were trying to enjoy the beauty and serenity of the place. We had a great time with the canoe exploring the coast from the sea, following the coastal path we walked the day before. Arnaud and his wife gave us great tips on what to do and see around, we biked to La Foret Fouesnant and Beg Meil and had the best crepes there (we also stocked up with caramel beurre sale!). They were both extremely welcoming and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The lodge was well-appointed, with comfortable beds and a very nice outdoor kitchen. It's fitted with two gas burners, a fridge, a water container and pretty much all the kitchen ware you need, the only thing missing perhaps was some basic stuff like salt & pepper. We also did a lot of BBQ (thanks Smokey Joe) and had delicious grilled sardines on our terrace. Hot showers and lavatories were well-designed and maintained too, kids liked having their own washbasin, and so did my back! They also had great fun with the chickens around the camp, plus nothing can beat fresh eggs in the morning! Fire pit was really nice in the evening, a great place to drink liters of local cider with the neighbours. Overall it was a brilliant holiday, thank you Arnaud, we will definitely be back !

“Perfect in every way”
