We hope you will allow yourself the pleasure of enjoying this luxury Portuguese Villa but with all the necessary human creature comforts to allow yourself to rest peacefully and quietly while having almost immediate access to all of Funchal´s cosmopolitan facilities and easy travel to all of Madeira´s idyllic features. The Villa is in a position that can be quite envied by many other local and close accommodations. It is located close to the sea front, the city centre and the Lido swimming pool area, but just far away enough to avoid the “touristic-centric” areas and the busy streets the package tourism hotels and restaurants are located in. Indeed the road in which this Villa is situated is a narrow and colourful road that gets very little traffic. The Villa faces south (towards the ocean) and the swimming pool has sunlight for nearly most of the day. It is in close proximity to the centre of Funchal and many of its other facilities, including the Quinta Magnolia Gardens (where tennis can be enjoyed) and the world famous Reid´s Palace Hotel (great for an afternoon tea break). The harbour is in walking distance and the easy traffic means getting about by car from this position is enjoyable and very quick. There are many restaurants, snack bars, bakeries and supermarkets nearby. Ten minutes walk in either a westerly or easterly direction and you will find a variety of international and local restaurants. So too all the major facilities of the resort hotels: massage, hydrotherapy, gymnasiums, health centres, live music, and local arts and crafts. Because of the excellent weather that Madeira has, the most outstanding facility of the Villa has to be the large swimming pool and the quiet private areas around the pool in which to sun tan and just be plain lazy.

The Villa has four Bedrooms, all of which have a double bed. There are three Bathrooms, one of which is ensuite. The Villa has a living room that combines with a reading or cards room. It has cable television and lots of sofa space. The Villa has a separate Dining Room which has a swimming pool view and communicates with the kitchen. The fully-equipped kitchen in turn communicates with the laundrynand pantry. There is another exit to the swimming pool from the kitchen and an entry to the hallway which leads to the stairwell to the top floor of the Villa. There is a long balcony with an ocean view that runs in front of two of the Bedrooms. As expected, sun chairs and a table are also available on the balcony. Right below the Bedroom balcony on the first floor is the ground floor terrace area that communicates with the garden, the front entrance and the large swimming pool area. The Villa has lots of garden space and its own vine lintel. This Villa has a traditional style and the walls are painted in traditional materials. The pavement and parking area is laid with basalt pebble in a traditional Madeira manor. There is also enough parking space should you wish to rent a car for your holiday stay.
