Description

Relax and enjoy spectacular views of Ganges Harbour as you watch the sailboats and seaplanes come-and-go from this large low-bank 3400 sq ft waterfront property. The long, tree covered driveway ensures maximum privacy while still being only 1.5km from the town of Ganges for all your amenities. It offers easy access to golf courses, boating, water sports, arts, culture, winery tours, fine-dining, beachcombing, and the popular Saturday Market.

The property is accessible by car, sail or power boat with a water equipped dock for up to 38’ boat. A mooring buoy is also available for those with a larger vessel or deep keel. The protected positioning of this shoreline ensures some of the best moorage on Salt Spring. The dock has a ladder for swimmers, with life-jackets available for guest use. A marina is nearby (but not too close) with gas pump, marine store and restaurants within walking distance.

Whether you want to entertain a group, spend some time with family and the kids, or just relax and do nothing, this house is perfectly suited. The fully equipped kitchen and bright dining area offers a wall of windows with stunning views that extend into the comfy ‘nautical-themed’ living area with gas fireplace. There is a handy outdoor deck off the kitchen area with seating for 8 and a large BBQ, as well as a separate outdoor lounge area with furniture, a gas fire pit and hot tub in front of the house overlooking the ocean. An expansive lawn provides plenty of space for the kids to run around, while later maybe roasting some marshmallows on the wood-burning fire pit closer to the dock, where additional deck chairs are available. Or, take some time to visit and feed the swans that are frequent visitors to our dock.

All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and decorated with a king bed and ensuite in the main floor master, and two additional bedrooms upstairs, one with a king bed, the other with two doubles, and an additional double and single in the hall living area close to the well-stocked bookshelf.

Salt Spring Island is the jewel of the Southern Gulf Islands. Come, put your feet up, and experience the unique culture on Salt Spring.

Monthly rentals welcome during the off-season when availability permits.

Getting around

Walking, car, bus, taxi, boat. Ganges is about 1km from the house. A car is not essential, but if you plan to tour the Island (highly recommended) then a car is recommended.

Interaction with guest

We will not be on-hand to greet you upon arrival, but rest assured you’ll have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. You will receive directions and access instructions prior to your travel, and there is a booklet onsite with detailed information about the house, wifi access, dining options, activities and getting around. As well, we are easily contacted if you have any questions.

How do damage deposits work?
