A cottage in the city! Unbelievable! It gives access to the river La Blanche. Located 30 minutes from Ottawa and 3 minutes from Highway 50. The cottage retains a modern, rustic style and its Native American roots. Quiet and peaceful place. 1 canoe and 2 kayaks are available to navigate the small river (including 3 life jackets for children, an extra large adult and 1 universal adult) a place to make a fire outside and inside, a solarium , a huge outdoor gallery for you BBQ. Close to several tourist attractions such as Parliament, balloon festival and tulip festival, mosaicultures, sports center, Branchaud-Brière complex, fine arts museum, Canadian war museum, nature museum, curtain canal, rafting or kayak of the Ottawa River, Bungee, bike paths, air park etc. Access to the water is further down the field. Around the cottage, we must monitor the children because there is a steep slope but the river is not deep. Internet is not unlimited, avoid movies please. Please note that the cottage is very clean and we wash all sheets and comforters after your stay. Show us what you used so that we could help save the planet.Thanks.

House rules

The solarium is 3 seasons so it is not heated. But you can use the wall heater to heat if necessary. Remember to close the please. Before leaving, empty the trash, leave used towels in the bathtub and washing dishes please. Remove your shoes inside.

Owner's reply: HI thanks for saying this comment in public so i can tell everybody : DO NOT rent to these persons. I have never seen my cottage this dirty after a 3 days stay. And yes i've ask 100$ more and end up with negciation of 60$ more at final but asked at the end 50$ because the tennants didn't break nothing. I have many properties under my profile and all of them are rated 4 to 5 stars including excellent customer service. I will not be gentle with people who doesn't respect my properties. It takes 4 hours to clean properly this cottage and we had to do an extra hour time plus found out that the solarium was leaking and the tenants never called us to report but have put many bath towels on the floor for 3 days and leave it there soaking. I don't have no more to say so respectfull people can judge by themselves.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Sonia (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
