Whether you are looking for the perfect morning view, enjoying the artsy shops, bakeries, award winning restaurants, theater or strolling along beaches, wharfs and friendly streets of a beautiful small town, staying in our family home gives you room to stretch out, unwind and find yourself again.
This is a 4 bedroom home, living room, dining room, sitting room we call "the lookout room,' 1 1/2 baths, full kitchen and laundry but the best will be the view of the harbor from 'the lookout room' or any front-facing room or the deck. We have an extra large yard for playing yard games for kids of all ages.
Once the home to the Harbormaster, Captain Sam Hemphill, we have renovated and updated while maintaining much of the character that Captain Hemphill built into his home with his own hands.
Georgetown has so much to offer for the person who wants to kick off their shoes, rewind and relax. You can walk through town and talk with the local artisan of beautiful jewelry, bakery and foodies! Spend a day exploring the beaches or an adventure with Tranquility Cove Adventures.
Whether you are determined to slow down the ride and get some R&R or wanting a stop along your tour of the east side of our beautiful island to enjoy your own home cooked food and get some laundry done, we welcome you!
If, by chance, you can't be separated from work or the rest of the world, don't fear--we have free WiFi and cable TV.
