Awarded Gig Harbor's best bed and breakfast business 2015, 2016, and 2017 and 2018. Selected for Gig Harbor's Garden Tour 2017. Selected for Gig Harbor's Christmas Tour of Homes 2013. The Parsonage offers two private bedrooms for lodging only. This listing features the KING BED ROOM. There is another listing which features the queen bed room. Breakfast is no longer provided. There are 10 restaurants within two blocks. 1.5 bathrooms serve both guest rooms. I have a DISCOUNTED GROUP RATE WHEN BOTH GUEST ROOMS ARE BOOKED AT THE SAME TIME. The group rate is $243 per night and $1531 per week. The Parsonage sets in a flower surrounded garden guarded by Lilly, the dragon. This vintage victorian home, built in 1901, was transformed in 2008 to a modern home with top end quality finishes. Charm is captured in its angles, high ceilings and design. The first floor contains the living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, and half bathroom. Guests can use the whole house, hot tub, patio and shade pavilion. Everyone raves about the comfort of the beds. The bedrooms, lounging room, full bathroom and office are located upstairs. The bedrooms offer small refrigerators, flat-screen TV's, and DVD players. Bathrobes and hot tub towels are also available for guests who want to relax in the eight person spa. The lounging room also has a microwave oven. WIFI is free. Need something to read? There is a community book exchange, too. The Parsonage is located only 1.5 blocks to Gig Harbor Bay and downtown central where there are lots of quaint shops, restaurants, a museum, art galleries, wine bars, walking trails, and boat and paddle board and kayak rentals. An authentic Italian gondola ride is available on Gig Harbor Bay in the summer. The community offers free use of life jackets, too. Within an hour's drive, you will find a classic car museum, wildlife up close and personal, theme park and water slides, Olympia-Washington's capital city, Seattle and Pike's Place Market, tennis, ice skating, harbor tours, Chihuly's famous glass art, Pt. Defiance Park and Zoo, golf courses too numerous to count, and much more! Come visit! With lots of room to move about, The Parsonage will be your home, away from home!

Getting around

A rental car is needed to explore greater Gig Harbor and outlying areas and other cities. Guests can walk the downtown area and Gig Harbor offers a shuttle in the summer to Uptown Gig Harbor for the Imax theater, the Gig Harbor theater, other shops and restaurants and grocery stores.

Interaction with guest

Mary lives in The Parsonage, too, with living quarters on the opposite side of the house. Guests are free to use the house. Mary will give you "hanging out" and kitchen privacy. However, she is there to assist and provide guidance as needed.
