Description

Spacious, child friendly, superbly located one bedroom bungalow. Lovely family complex in a popular location in Golf del Sur. Open aspect from the rear patio leading to the upstairs balcony where you will enjoy the view as you relax in the sun, have your breakfast in the morning or dine in the evening and watch the sun go down.

Private patios at the front and rear of the property, but it is positioned very close to the main pool are. The communal areas are beautifully landscaped with sub tropical planting and all areas are well maintained and clean.

Perfect for a relaxing family holiday., a pool bar within easy reach and a great selection of restaurant locally.

Security is paramount with lockable gates on both front and back back patio access doors to the bungalow, glass partitioned pool area and gated access gates to the complex.

From the main entrance hall, the bedroom has a ceiling fan, fitted wardrobes and two single beds with good quality mattresses, which can be locked together to create a super king size bed, French doors leading to the front terrace.beds. There is an air conditioning unit to use if necessary paid localy. In the wardrobe there is a safe for your use, with instructions.

Large bathroom, fully marble tiled, twin sinks, walk in shower and toilet. Second cloakroom with hand basin and toilet.

Well fitted modern kitchen features some unique aspects with beautiful a broad granite breakfast bar with a view across the complex. The kitchen has every thing you need, microwave, new oven and ceramic hob, fridge-freezer and washing machine, toaster & kettle.

The lounge has a large flat screen TV with British Channels, ceiling fan and dining area with patio doors leading to large rear terrace which over looks the garden area and has a table and four chairs, umbrella and sun beds, with the nearest pool being just a few feet away.

We respectfully request that smoking be kept to the outside areas.

Long let's at a reduced rate to a maximum stay of 6 weeks.

On a bus route. Excellent Taxi service nearby. 10 minutes drive from the airport. A car isn't needed here but if you want to explore the island then it would be an advantage.

“No 16 The Palms”

The bungalow is a good size with great amenities. It boasts lovely sun terraces and is quite and peaceful. Great for a relaxing holiday. On the negative it lacks T.L.C. the bungalow could do with a lick of paint as well as a good deap clean hence the 3 stars. Overall an enjoyable stay

“Nice bungalow- shame about the owner”

This bungalow is beautiful and in an excellent location. We have been visiting the palms every 6 weeks or so for the last 10 years and have stayed in many of the bungalows and count many lovely owners and residents as close friends of our family. This bungalow is great as long as you don’t have to contact the owner for any reason. She is rude, unhelpful and passes judgement on her guests (e.g she suggested we ‘get on with our holiday’ rather than worrying that the tv and WiFi hadn’t worked for over 5 days over the Christmas period- she did not know that the person who was staying at the bungalow had been ill and had been housebound for a while). The owner then started quizzing us about how many people were living in the house (1?!) and I also had to sort the tv and WiFi out by contacting the company myself as she claims she could not organise it from the U.K. the palms is, as always, a lovely location- it is a disappointment that this owner treats her high paying guests as an inconvenience and has no personnel skills, and also that she does not realise that sometimes guests will need basics like tv as not everyone goes on holiday to be out of the house all day every day.

I would have liked to give this 5 stars. It is a very well laid out area the pool was lovely and clean but around the pool areas the ground was dirty gardens are well kept just a few little things that let it down I think maybe it's not being upkept as it once was but still worth a visit. Restuarant food was good lovely breakfast and sunday lunch and very freindly staff except the old man who i found to be very rude and miserable a let down for customer service which is a shame as the other staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop near by to visit places and the San blas centre is about a half hour walk 3/5 euro for a taxi. Lovely restaurants and very reasonable prices nutters is worth a visit for breakfast. All in all a lovely resort.
