Want to get away from it all into the beauty of the Breton countryside ?

Newly refurbished 200 year old stone farmhouse set in beautiful countryside location , on the top of a hill and not overlooked .Enjoys panoramic views in a very secluded location. Adjoining barn and well to front of property.

Very spacious and furnished to a very high standard with comfortable leather settees and chairs to lounge in front of an open fire ( real wood burning stove .. wonderful during those chilly days. )

Oak dining table seats six .High chair available. Sun terrace to rear to soak up those rays !!

Fully equipped kitchen including cooker, microwave , fridge -freezer , kettle, hob, toaster and all mod-cons ! Washing machine,

Three very large bedrooms. Two twin rooms upstairs, both rooms enjoy skylights for a light airy feel. Upstairs enjoys its own family bathroom with walk in shower and wc and glass washbasin and airy skylight.

Master Bedroom has a super king-size bed with memory foam mattress. Bedroom has a separate bathroom with walk in shower, glass washbasin and wc , a walk in closet and double patio doors to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Cleverly concealed flat screen tv and dvd player and a large selection of DVDs.

Lawned garden just under 1 acre with amazing views. Sun terrace with two outside picnic benches. Rope swing to large oak tree at the bottom of the garden .

Beautiful and peaceful walks on doorstep ..minutes from local river and woodland .

Great for cycling too .. take a ride down the disused railway track only minutes away.

Close to many un spoilt sandy beaches, only 35 minutes away approximately .Secluded coves to be found ! Try Benodet beach if you want a busier resort with lots of amenities.

Nearest supermarket, cafes and restaurants only 10 minutes drive away.. nearest town Gourin.

Outdoor swimming pool open during summer months in Gourin and waterslides and outdoor fun area and pool in Carhaix approx. 20 minutes away by car. Watersports available also .

Close to busy town of Lorient .. great ww2 submarine museum, lots of shops and restaurents and cafes etc.

Pont Aven is only 30 minutes drive away. A great base from which to explore Brittany.

Collect the keys onsite from a keysafe. I have an English friend who lives very close by and does the changeovers at the the end of the stay.. Cleaning is an extra 80 euro payable onsite in Euro sat end of stay.. I am very happy to provide local information as I know the area very well.

“Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location.”

We stayed at this cottage for two weeks in August 2012. The cottage has been beautifully restored and furnished. It is set in a quiet rural location with a large private garden overlooking the valley below. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for preparing meals. The supermarkets are only a short drive away, and stock everything you would expect from a large supermarket – with some great bargains on wine! The cottage is an excellent base for exploring Brittany’s unspoilt coastline and traditional villages. We visited several beaches during our stay – in fact we went to the beach every day as the weather was so good. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, away from it all, this is the perfect cottage for you. We enjoyed our holiday so much, we are returning this summer.

It was a pleasure to stay in this delightful and beautifully finished cottage. It is in a quiet location with great views over the valley and some really nice walks nearby and only about 10 minutes from the local town. The whole cottage has been done to a very high standard and we thought that the log burner was a great feature and provided plenty of warmth throughout the living room / kitchen diner. If you like peace & quiet with a touch of luxury then we would highly recommend this cottage.

How do damage deposits work?
