This stunning 2 bed 2 bath beach front apartment is located within the very beautiful fishing village of Gulluk and just a five minute drive to the center of the town, or a short walk if you would prefer. It has a beautiful beach with crystal clear turquoise waters just across the road and is very well positioned on the 1st floor near to the entrance gate to a small complex of 66 luxury apartments. There are three balconies, one for each bedroom, and a very large one from the living room. The view from the main bedroom is truly amazing even when you are lying on the bed you can see the trees, the mountains, and the sea. If need be the apartment can accommodate two more persons on a blow up bed which is provided.

Car hire can also be arranged if required. Driving in Turkey is a must, good roads mainly motorway, history everywhere you turn, and great scenery.

The master bedroom, guest bedroom, and bathrooms, all have cotton linen bed clothes and towels. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all you will need if you decide to dine in, rather than eat out in any one of the fine restaurants Gulluk has to offer. There is also a small barbecue on the main balcony and a table and chairs. Sitting out here at night is a rare experience. You can watch the beautiful red sunset every single evening and because the apartment is slightly outside the village you can marvel at the stars against the jet black sky later on in the evening with a glass of wine. A little bit of peace and tranquillity.

There is a beautiful garden outside with very nice shrubs, plants, and fruit trees bearing pomegranates and even bananas. The 35 meter infinity swimming pool is a magnificent non chlorine crystal clear pool with spectacular views of the Agean sea and surrounding mountains and coastline. It is also worth mentioning that this is a first floor corner apartment with stunning unobstructed views from all of its 3 beautiful Balconys of orange groves to the front (beside the sea) and Mountains and, olive trees to the right and is not overlooked by any of the other apartments.

“Excellent Apartments with lovely views...”
We have just come back from a lovely holiday here at Beach Residence Apartments. We traveled with two other families and rented 3 different apartments within the complex all of which had sea views and were equipped with everything you needed on a self catering basis to a high standard. All had air con and were extremely spacious and well presented. There was a lovely pool with sun beds available. These apartments are located about a 15-20min walk from the center of Gulluk. A taxi was £2.50 each way or you can catch the bus directly outside the apartments. There is a shop 5 mins walk away where you can buy essentials. We all had a lovely stay here and would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a relaxing peaceful location with great views of the coastline.

Since your last visit a new excellent dual carriage way has been completed which will bring you from the Airport directly to the village of Gulluk in less than ten minutes. Stayed at this apartment last August and after much thought, felt compelled to write this review and give an honest account of our experience. Good points; The apartment itself was clean and spacious with lovely views over the harbour. The kitchen itself had most things, although i would have expected a toaster and an ironing board. These apartments do not have ovens so if you want to do any cooking it is either the hob or the microwave. The pool was excellent, great size and cleaned regularly aithough not enough sunbeds for the amount of apartments, you do have to get up early to get one in high season. Gulluk itself was a charming place,however a little on the expensive side when eating out. Last year in Fethiye we paid roughly 3-5 Lira for an Effes beer, in Gulluk it was about 10- 12 Lira depending on where you went. Also be careful as we found at times the prices were made up as they went along, other holiday makers found this too! Another point to bear in mind is that Gulluk is quite hilly and the apartment is not in the centre of Gulluk, we walked it a couple of times but even at 7 in the morning found it hard going. There is a bus that comes past the apartments at set times however sometimes it was full and didn't stop or just didn't turn up. There is a good taxi firm called Ahmets which we used quite a lot, it cost us 10 Lira each way. The not so good point; when we go on holiday we go to forget about the uk and have a wonderful time. We always leave mobile phones etc at home. Our daughter took her ipod to listen to music and whilst in Gulluk one evening she checked her emails in one of the pubs with wi fi. I checked mine and was so glad i did, the owner of the apartment had emailed me letting us know that he had a last minute booking and although the agreement at time of booking, months before, was that we could have the apartment until 7pm due to a late flight, this had now changed and there was little we could do about it. . In the end we were left with two choices, we either vacated the apartment at 12 noon so the management company could come in and clean ( we could leave our luggage there once cleaned but couldn't use the facilities) or we cleaned it ourselves. We opted to clean it ourselves and spent most of our last day doing this so that we could use the toilet and get a shower before we left to come home It was agreed we would leave the apartment at 5pm at at 4.10pm a rather rude woman appeared at the door, held her hand out and abruptly said " keys". I'm afraid to say this whole thing ruined the last week of our holiday. The owner did however give us £50 for cleaning the apartment but i did not expect this to happen in the first place. If you have an agreement with someone,( i still have the email that said we could have the apartment until 7pm) then it should be honoured. We didn't have this problem last year. It's fair to say we won't be going back to this apartment, but if we did return to Gulluk it would be closer to the centre.

In order to address some of your conserns about the Gulluk area I decided to leave my responce until such time as I had returned there myself which was not until October(2014) My family and I travel there at least once a year since we bought the Apartment in 2007. With regards to the beautiful pool area which I am glad you enjoyed so much. I must say that we have never encountered any problems with sun loungers and we usualy travel in July or August and a lot of our guests have said that they sometimes had the whole pool area to them selves. All of the Restaurants in Gulluk have printed Menus which are clearly priced and are also very reasonable. Apint of Efus beer is no more than 7 Lira anywhere in the Village and can even be served in a frosted glass while taking in the views of the harbour at any one of the Bars or Restaurants. The Dolmus is frequent and Taxis are cheap as you rightly say. With regards to the location of the Apartment.I purchased this Apartment slightly outside the Village (5 min drive)for the peace and tranquility it provides and in particular for the spectacular views and glorious sunsets which can be enjoyed from its balconys. We will always accommodate a late check out for our guests at no extra charge provided the Apartment can be cleaned and made ready for newly arriving guests. This can only take place from 12 noon onwards as the Apartment is quiet large and it takes 4 hours approx to clean by the Management Company. If there are no guests arriving on the day of checkout then there are no issiues. Thank you again for your comments. Kind regards, David Lennon
