Couch surfing at it's finest! Simplicity in a 70 sq ft tiny room. No frills, just a clean, quiet place. Very bright converted insulated porch. Mini fridge, microwave, antique electric fireplace, WIfi 50/10, separate keypad entrance.

Close to Dofasco, Hamilton General + St. Joseph's Hospitals, Brock U Teachers College, Osteopath College, downtown, 403. No direct air conditioning, lots of fresh air, blackout curtains. Free street parking Cats may be present

A small, quiet, simple itty bitty room on the main floor. A 4pc bathroom in the basement. The bathroom has a very low ceiling. A backup bathroom for tall people is upstairs.

Available kettle, coffeemaker, toaster.

Check in times 4P-midnight; keyless entry; self check in. No kitchen, no living room, just you and what you need to do.

Basic family neighbourhood noises - cars passing by, neighbours catting, a dog barking, and the fridge humming. Great for study and writing.

Hangers, no closet.

There is a separate heater and 2 windows for fresh air fiends. While it is your own dedicated room, the doorways must be kept clear in case of an emergency.

One of 2-4 single occupancy suites in home. Host occupied. Average total occupancy 3.5 guests/night.

Close to Hamilton General, St. Peter’s Hospital, Dofasco, and one bus to McMaster. Busses run up to 21 hrs a day and are 3 minutes away.

Access to Pearson, Hamilton International, and Toronto Island airports by Uber, GO Transit, Hamilton Transit. Access to washer, dryer, dishwasher, clothesline.

No kitchen or living room.

24-hour cheap and cheerful restaurants within 1/3 km . Guests are mature working professionals that tend to rise early and retire early.

There is also a gym 1 km away.

West Harbour and Liuna Train Station is within a mile or so.

There is also excellent rental bikes, hiking trails nearby including access to the Bruce Trail.

Library and computers within close walking distance.

Hidden Hamilton: waterfalls and world biosphere hiking trails within walking distance.

Getting around

This location is within a 30 min-3 hr drive (depending on traffic) of 4 airports. I recommend Uber. the GO Transit system, and the Hamilton Transit system. All have sites. Closest bus, the Barton 2, runs up to 21 hours a day.

As a professional host, I look to my guests to tell me what will make this simple, cheap and cheerful offer a 5-star experience nonetheless! You may wish to have lively conversations, go for long walks and hikes, join me at the gym, or join me on excursions into Toronto and Cottage Country. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If ....just Mandi (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
