Rent the whole lodge and have the ultimate private stay in the African Bush!

Experience the ambiance of South Africa in our tranquil self catering lodge on a

private game reserve in the heart of wildlife - rich Limpopo Province. Solitude and

serenity surround you in your private tree house chalet as you watch a spectacular

sunset over the mountains.

A Small, Private, and Unique Self-Catering Experience

Bona Ntaba Lodge is a small but unique facility featuring three tree house chalets

and a thatched central lodge with fully equipped kitchen, boma with braai, and a

tranquil lounge with a sunset deck and splash pool. Each elevated, simple and stylish wooden tree

house cabin is elevated to afford the best view of the bush and the mountains from

the private covered balcony. Inside are either two single beds or a king sized bed.

The tree houses are ensuite with a bath tub, sink and toilet inside and an outside

shower with breathtaking views of the bush. Two of the tree houses also have a

loft. The loft is large enough to sleep two children or one adult or perhaps a couple.

Linens and mozzy nets are supplied and windows have screening and coverings.

There are plenty of electrical outlets and a personal safe.

The lodge building has a large lounge, spacious kitchen, sunset deck, and

enclosed bona with brai. The splash pool is meters away from our watering hole and has a sunset view. The kitchen contains a refrigerator and locked cabinet for

use by each tree house. Guests can also use the full size oven,

microwave, burners and 2 sets of spare burners, and 2 double sinks plus plenty of serving dishes and utinsels.

Dishes, tableware, cups, and cooking pots, pans, and implements are provided.

The large lounge has comfortable seating and is the perfect place to read and

relax enjoying the views out the large glass sliders looking toward the watering hole. The large dining table is

perfect for indoor dining or you can use the tables on the deck or in the boma for

outdoor dining.

After a relaxing day, enjoy sundowners on the sunset deck before having a braai

under the stars in the boma. You will hear the call of the lions in the distance as

part of the starlight serenade as you relax around the fire.

Bona Ntaba is perfect for groups or families traveling together.

With only 3 tree houses, a family or group of 6 to 8 can book the whole camp and

enjoy the privacy of having exclusive use of all facilities.

Relax or Seek Out Adventure

Bona Ntaba is on a private game reserve and it is not unusual for the giraffe and

zebras to graze right off of our deck and under the tree houses. If you seek

adventure, you will be staying close to all of the best activities in the area. Game drive adventures are available on the nearby reserves including a big

5 reserve. All of the rafting, hiking, and thrills of the Blyde Canyon are an easy

drive away. The Orpen Gate of Kruger National Park is 30 minutes as is the town of Hoedspruit. Guests can also enjoy the unique

thrills of an elephant backed safari and a canopy tour on a zip line. catering may be arranged with management.

Getting around

Please set your GPS to Coordinates: S 24° 30.551 E031° 06.130 These Coordinates will navigate to the turn off for our Guernsey Reserve Gate: Many GPS and map systems can not navigate to our lodge. Better to navigate to our reserve entrance. *We recommend a stop in Hoedspruit to get food, petrol, firewood, etc. Our roads in the reserve and for several kilometers leading to the reserve are dirt roads. Most of the time they are easily accessed by all types of vehicles if you drive carefully. Some areas are corrugated and in rainy season can become challenging without an SUV , truck , or 4 wheel drive. Please contact us for road conditions prior to your arrival if you are concerned. How do damage deposits work?
