Cruise to beautiful Waikiki, swim with turtles, snorkel and enjoy the sunset on deck with a Mai Tai in hand. Experience the freedom of a cruising vacation minus the stress and hassle. Our professional captain/host is ready to take you to some of our favorite anchorages and marinas on the island leaving you free to relax and unwind.

Ho'okipa is a 57' sportfisher yacht that is surprisingly roomy and comfortable due to her wide 18' beam and semi-luxurious accomodations. Although she is a 1990 model you would never know it due to her quality construction and meticulous upkeep.

You are free to use Ho'okipa as a base for exploring all that Honolulu has to offer or cruise Hawaii's waters with our professional captain and crew at an additional charge.

The price quoted is for accommodation onboard at our commercial marina, Kewalo Basin Harbor where guests embark and disembark. Price quoted is for double occupancy with an additional charge for each additional guest up to four guests max. For cruising charters around the island, there is an additional fee. Our normal charter rate of $500 an hour will be discounted to $400 an hour with a two hour minimum for our Time Charter guests - payable by cash or credit card once onboard. Maximum number of guests for our cruise charter is six.

There is step on and off access to excellent restaurants, a brand new Whole Foods supermarket and wonderful shopping directly across the street! The boat is just steps from world famous Ala Moana Beach Park and

Ala Moana Shopping Center. Bike rentals and Uber are also available if walking is not your thing.

Accommodations include a beautiful, comfortable salon with AC, TV, stereo, and Playstation 4. Master Stateroom with queen bed, AC, stereo, TV, Playstation 4, full bath, 2 storage lockers and drawers. Guest Cabin has two twin beds, TV, stereo, Playstation 4, full bath, locker and drawers. Crew Cabin with twim bunk beds.

One free parking stall will be provided for our guests at no additional charge.

Each cabin is made up with clean sheets and towels before each charter. Guests are free to provision the boat as they would like.

Please understand, this is a boat and not a typical home - therefore, all marine sanitary systems are incorporated and stored within the confines of the boat. As such, some people may be more sensitive to the odors which may be generated. Also, our marine Vacuflush head is considerably smaller than your typical household toilet.

Upon check in all guests will be given a comprehensive orientation and safety briefing by the captain. The guests shall be required to comply with the requirements of this safety briefing throughout the course of the charter. All guests must sign a release of injury and liability form which is available for preview upon request. Lost parking pass will cost $100.00. Lost gate access card will cost $50.00.

At this time we are only accepting charters six months out. If you have a later date in mind please contact us and we will try to fulfill your request.

We automatically charge for any guests or visitors that board Ho'okipa that are undeclared or unauthorized at the additional daily rate.

Getting around

There are great restaurants nearby along with a brand new Whole foods store that recently opened. All of which is in walking distance from Ho'okipa.

Interaction with guest

Guests have exclusive access to the yacht to include three cabins, salon and galley area as well as the spacious bridge, covered cockpit and forward deck. All areas of the boat are accessible to guests except the tuna tower and engine room. Surfboards, paddle boards and beach towels are provided at no additional charge.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Darryl (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
