Description

Swimming, fishing, boating, golf - this large 1900 sq. ft. custom 1-story home on a deep water canal is just minutes to the Gulf. Lounge on the screened lanai between dips in the large heated pool or bring your boat and use our community boat launch then tie up to our private dock with a fish cleaning station!

There's a spacious great room with comfortable leather couches and a recliner, smart LED TV with Roku and CBS All Access, and built-in bookcases with lots of books and games. The dining area seats 6 and also works well as a game table. The great room opens to the pool lanai.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and glassware for 12, separate dishes for use by the pool, spices, loads of pots and pans, and small electrics (Cuisinart food processor, blender, toaster, toaster oven, crock pot, and more) . The refrigerator has ice and water on the door. There's a separate coffee bar with a Keurig brewer, mugs, coffee and tea pods.

Beyond the great room is a large living room with 3 large sofas, perfect for some quiet time or reading. These sofas can also be used for sleeping if you have unexpected guests.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, two leather club chairs, his and her dressers, large closets and nightstands. There's a patio door that opens to the pool lanai. There are some pool robes in the closet for your use. It also has an en suite bath with shower and teak bench, and a ceiling fan with light as well as lights on the night stands.

The two guest bedrooms feature comfortable queen beds. Both bedrooms have spacious dressers, closets, nightstands, and desks and chairs for computer time.

All the bedrooms offer a choice of feather and down or foam pillows, and each has a comforter as well as a quilt. There are lots of pillows in each bedroom. There is a ceiling fan with light and smaller lights on each nightstand.

The hall bath has a combination tub and shower. There are lots of towels and washcloths in both bathrooms, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryers, Q-tips and cotton swabs for your use. There are medicine cabinets and drawers in the vanities for your toiletries. Both bathrooms have first aid kits.

The fully screened pool lanai is roofed with seating areas and a dining table for outdoor dining. There's a Weber propane barbeque on a roll-around stand. Two ceiling fans with lights and rope lights make for nice lighting when you want to sit out and enjoy a warm evening. The lanai and screened pool cage cover the 16 x 33 ft. heated inground pool. The pool ranges in depth from 3 ft. to about 8 ft. There are several foam "noodles" as well as some other floating devices for use in the pool. The pool service comes once a week. Guests are expected to cover the pool at night or whenever the pool isn't in use to conserve heat. That way we don't have to charge for the heat!

For those who want to catch some sun, there's a large enclosed deck with a bar table and 2 bar stools plus a dining table and 4 chairs overlooking the canal and boat dock. Or spend some time in the adirondack chairs on the large dock, watching all the amazing birds, or trying your hand at catching some fish! We've had porpoise and manatees swim right by while sitting at the dock! Herons, kingfishers, ibis, pelicans, seagulls (of course), and many more birds are regular visitors.

NO CHILDREN UNDER 14 please due to the potential hazard of our dock, canal, and pool.

This is a typical suburban area so you will definitely need a car to get around and explore all there is to see and do.

When you confirm your booking, our wonderful property manager, Karen, will give you a code to use for the front door. Karen lives nearby in Port Richey and is happy to answer questions or handle any issues thnt arise during your stay. When you arrive there is a Welcome binder in the entry on the toucan console table that is crammed full of information about the house, the area, and many of the places and things to see and do including brochures and maps.
