REDUCED Weekly RATES for the month of June and September 8th till end of October ($1100 Saturday-Saturday) This beautiful 3 bedroom private cottage is an attractive affordable solution to your family vacation! The large deck offers wonderful views of Fox Lake and beautiful sunrises. The cottage is eastern facing with plenty of sun on the water for swimming or lounging on the sandy beach or lounging on the lawn until late afternoon. The dock provides a great place for trying to fish up bass, pike, walleye, sunfish and perch. There is a large outdoor fire pit with plenty of chairs for you to enjoy sitting by the campfire roasting marshmallows or hot dogs. (Need to bring your own firewood) The cottage is winterized for those who want a spring/fall getaway or just a peaceful hideout on a private road. There is plenty room for parking. Maximum occupancy is 6 Adults and 2 Children. The cottage is open concept with a large kitchen and living room with a fantastic view of the lake. The living room features big screen TV with satellite TV and DVD player, with plenty of cozy seating. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking necessities and more. The included appliances are: Fridge, stove, dishwasher, toaster, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and tea pot. Also in the kitchen area is a small desk perfect for laptops or computers with access to WiFi. There is good cell phone reception. Down the hall is a bathroom with a large deep soaker tub/shower and double vanity. The master bedroom has a comfy king size bed with a beautiful view of the lake, a TV and plenty of room in the closet and dresser. The second bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom of one of the bunkbeds, a dresser and spacious closet. The third bedroom has a queen size bed, a TV and small cabinet with drawers in closet. Bring your own DVD players for the bedrooms.

There is a Paddle Boat and 4 Kayaks available. 2-8ft 1-10ft 1-12ft. There will be a $100 fee which will come out of the security deposit for any missing, damaged or broken paddles.

Bring drinking water, sheets/pillow cases, towels, bug spray and Firewood and you are all set for a relaxing time. Of course you will need toiletries, food, condiments and beverages. The towns of Hunstville, Bracebridge and Gravenhurst are all with-in an easy drive. Huntsville has a great system of trails, including the Trans-Canada Trail, and parks for you to do some hiking, biking, walking and beautiful scenery. If you have your own boat, the Muskoka River provides opportunity for scenic trips through the locks and access to Fairy Lake, Mary Lake, Lake Vernon and downtown Huntsville. There is a quiet river you can Kayak up and then portage into Buck Lake to the north. Walmart, Freshco, Independent, Winners, Canadian Tire, LCBO and the Beer Store are some of the many shopping places available and the beautiful downtown is a great attraction that Huntsville has to offer and it is only a quick 20 minute drive from this private 4 seasons cottage! Algonquin Park, Dorset and Santa's Village are also not that far away. The dock is put in the water the June 30th weekend and taken out in early September. There is no boat launch available usually

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Casey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
