Description

El Andalous is a luxury apart-hotel right by the beautiful beach at Sahl Hasheesh. It has an attractive Egyptian style reception area which is manned 24/7, which leads to the well kept gardens with two beautiful (unheated) swimming pools and a waterfall. The pool area has sunbeds and sun umbrellas which are free to use. As you walk through the gardens you have excellent views over the pier and beach. There is also a private beach, by the apartments and the pier, with sun-loungers and parasols. Steps lead down to the private beach, promenade and a small shop for your everyday needs.

Located on the ground floor 137 El Andalous, is a two bedroom / two bathroom apartment, which sleeps four people (plus a cot for a baby is provided, if required). It is air-conditioned throughout and has been beautifully equipped with quality furniture. All the fixtures and fittings are of a high standard. It has a good sized balcony area with seating, offering views over the beach, pier, pretty gardens and pool.

Lounge & Dining Area: The open plan lounge / diner / kitchen is a good sized area, with a high quality solid kitchen and an attractive dining table and chairs. The lounge has a comfortable sofa and two chairs, satellite TV, coffee tables, with patio doors opening onto the balcony and views of the Red Sea, Sunken City, pier, garden and pools.

Bedrooms: There is an attractive master bedroom, with double bed, a good sized wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, air-conditioning and a patio door leading to a second balcony. It has a large en-suite shower room. The twin bedroom has two single beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers, a bedside table, travel cot, window seat and air-conditioning, with a view of the beach, pool and garden.

Bathrooms: There are two bathrooms which are attractively tiled, with modern sink unit and WC, space age shower cubicles, with lights and steam room setting. Towels are supplied (including beach towels).

Kitchen: Is fully equipped with all you will require. It has an oven, touch-control electric hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle and washing machine.

Balconies & Outside Space: The main balcony, partly enclosed, has a table and chairs, a comfortable bench (with scuba-diving equipment storage) and views to the Red Sea, gardens and pool area. Room for drying clothes (airer supplied) is on the smaller balcony. Patio doors from the main balcony lead to the lounge.

Please note this is a non smoking apartment.

A full laundry service is available at Reception (if you prefer not to use the washing machine in the apartment).

Sahl Hasheesh is a purpose-built paradise on the Red Sea Riviera, It offers up everything from an under-water 'sunken city' to a fabulous white sand beach which seems to stretch for miles. Surrounded by beautiful bays with stunning beaches leading to the crystal clear blue waters of the Red Sea you can choose to laze on its beaches whilst soaking up the sun, snorkel, scuba dive, visit the local bars, restaurants and shops or relax in the magical Piazza area.

As you can imagine from such a new resort, everything is incredibly clean and stylish. In particular, there's an elegantly designed pier of white stone leading into the Red Sea and a Sunken City has even been created beneath the water as a home for the exotic species of fish found here. You are able to snorkel and scuba-dive around this area. The Piazza in itself is a real marvel, with Egyptian style lamps, fountains and a shimmering man-made canal. At night, it's lit up in beautiful colours of neon pink, green and purple.

Sahl Hasheesh International Resort is located approximately 18 km south of Hurghada, and is set to become the largest fully integrated resort area on the Red Sea coast of Egypt. The area enjoys expansive views of the Red Sea, mountains and coast line, clearly exhibiting the beauty of its location, surroundings and natural landscape.

Sahl Hasheesh is highly accessible being just 20 minutes drive from Hurghada, itself a prominent holiday destination. We can provide the services of our British ex-pat apartment manager for a safe and comfortable taxi service, tours and excursions (which can be tailor-made), airport transfers and all transportation during your stay (he is an official tour guide and taxi driver).

Upon arrival, you will be greeted and shown around the apartment by the apartment manager, who will ensure that you are happy with everything. He can also offer to lend you a mobile phone to make cheap local calls during your stay, if you wish.

We can, if requested, also provide a basic food package for your arrival (unless you choose to stop off at the supermarket on your way to the resort, which the driver is happy to do), or even have flowers, fruit, Champagne or other alcohol at the apartment upon your arrival (at an additional cost which will be calculated when your request is made).

Flights are available from all major destinations throughout Europe making it one of the easiest resorts to get to. The perfect all year climate also means that you can enjoy a stay at any time of the year with the almost 100% guarantee of sunshine throughout your stay.

Getting around

The Old Town of Sahl Hasheesh, with its shops, cafes and restaurants are all within a 2-8 minutes walk. The beach, garden and pools are adjacent to the apartment. To visit Hurghada, or other places further afield taxis are the best option and can be booked through the apartment manager, who is contactable by the local mobile phone he will provide for you during your stay.

How do damage deposits work?
