this is the top floor flat of an historical building, which I bought in 2011, completely renovated and modernized to very good standards. I originally designed this flat for myself and my partner, but unfortunately we don't live in Istanbul right now and rent our flat.

- this is the top floor flat with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a living room with kitchenette.

- very conveniently located in the heart of the city center, kurdela street, omer hayyam in Beyoglu. Only five minutes to walk to bustling Istiklal Street and Taksim.

- electricity, central heating system, water, air conditioning and unlimited high speed wireless internet connection are all included in the price.

- great orientation, bright apartment, high ceiling

- security and alarm system for the entire building, including gas and fire detectors in kitchen and bedrooms,

- shared laundry room with two washing machines, iron and vacuum cleaners.

- basic furniture (bed, study desk, wardrobe, coach), double glazed wooden windows and warm and noiseless floor, 24 hours hot water, newly fitted modern kitchenette (cooking unit, fridge), common backyard.

- a security deposit is required for long term stay (one month and longer).

When I am not in Istanbul, my nephew, Baran, who is also a university student, lives in the same building and helps me to welcome my guest. He is a great guy.

The Neighborhood :

Despite its central location, it is still a working class residents and historical neighborhood preserving its own charming. Municipality started a huge regeneration project couple of years ago, not too far from our street. This triggered the transformation of the area. Low-income families are moving out, and recently many students and foreigners have been moving in due to its location.

It is a very central place, walking distance to main pedestrian street, Istiklal and Taksim Square, full of cafes and restaurants, and also transportation hubs.

There is a local street market t on Sundays, which you can buy fresh and cheap all kind of vegetables, fruits and anything else.

Getting Around:

Because of its central location, getting around is super easy. Either by foot , 10 minutes to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street, and 5 minutes to bus station and 10 minutes to the metro station. To the historical sites and museums you can go by bus, metro or tram, you may need to combine couple of them. It takes only 20-35 minutes. You can walk 20min to the ferry station in Karakoy to pass to Kadikoy, Asian site.

How do damage deposits work?
