Villa Rodanthi in Kamilari, perfect for couples and families

Villa Rodanthi is a fully renovated old stone house in Kamilari, created with respect to its traditional elements and architecture. It is in harmony with the Cretan environment and the traditional colors of blue and white. Built in 1908 with 60 cm stone walls, 167 square meters big it is the ideal home for a unique unforgettable breakaway from your everyday life. Its yard offers you privacy, relaxation, fun, serenity, romance and beauty.

It is a family home for 6 people. It is an art décor home, renovated, with totally new and modern appliances and air conditioning in every room, big fridge, new electrical ceramic stove, dishwasher, washing machine and a safe box. It has been furnished and decorated with love, art and fun. Its style is mix and match, with traditional and modern elements and antiques.

Villa Rodanthi has a big yard with a jacuzzi for 6 people, a big kitchen and living room with a traditional fireplace, a bedroom with a wooden bunk for 3 people, ideal for kids and a big bedroom comfortable enough for 3 people with a big fireplace and an electrical treadmill for working out and a fully renovated big bath room with shower. All together gives you the sense of warmth and makes you feel like home, it is not like any other villa.

Situated in a very beautiful traditional village which has a lot to offer for the tourists, archaeological sites, 10 minutes from the archaeological site of Faistos, beautiful tavernas and cafes, 5 minutes from Kalamaki beach, 8 minutes from Matala beach and 6 minutes from Kommos beach, lovely sightseeing and located in a very picturesque neighborhood in the center of the village and at the same time private and serene.

Our philosophy is philoxenia, a greek word which means friendly, warm, open and welcoming environment and hospitality. It offers you 2 smart TV / Sat TV, free internet, all the amenities of a real home, electrical and house hold equipment, a friendly and clean environment, cleaning service once every 4 to 5 days.

Dear guests!
My name is Eva Kornarou. I am the owner of Villa Rodanthi, a house that I love a lot and that I have inherited from my beloved grandmother Rodanthi.
I have decorated everything with my personal touch and I have used the paintings of my dear friend Alrun Fisher to give a fresh artistic color to this house. My goal was to create a space which gives you the sense of a warm welcome home and not of a hotel. My wish is to make you feel welcome and to feel like home.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Eva (the owner) a message.

If Eva (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
