Description

The tranquil Elm Grove Cottage resort is located on the north shores of pristine Rice Lake in Peterborough. Rice Lake connects to the Trent Severn Waterway via the Otonabee River and is the gateway to the Kawarthas Lakes.

The resort is only 120 Kms from Scarborough. Rice Lake is a extremely popular destination for fishing and boating with many local attractions. It is considered to be the lake with most bountiful fish in Ontario - Panfish, Walleye, Muskie, Bluegill, Crappie and Bass. A boat launch, restaurant, convenience store and gas station is only 2 Kms from the resort.

Muddy's Pit BBQ at Keene is 15 minutes from our resort if you're looking for some delicious wood smoked ribs. If you drive into Peterborough City, you will find a lot of things to do as well including indulging in the popular Kawartha Dairy Bar.

"Ron-Dezvous" is a 700 Sq foot cottage with 3 bedrooms, living room/kitchen and attached bath. The deck is only 50 meters from the lake and you can relax under the translucent pergola, rain or shine. The view of sunrise is breathtaking and at night you may be lucky to see the serene moon on the horizon as you wind down and BBQ on the deck.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Bryan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
