Description

Modern, executive cottage located with over 200 feet of private lakefront. Plenty of room inside and out for a large family vacation or corporate retreat. Free WiFi and great cellular coverage. Ten minute drive to Lakefield for shopping and groceries.

Great swimming, sandy walk in for small kids or jumping off the new dock for older kids and adults. Plenty of toys to keep everyone out enjoying the sun and the lake - canoe, kayaks, paddle board, paddle boat and a 15 foot water matt that is fun for both kids and adults.

The 4,000+ sq foot cottage comfortably sleeps 16 adults. There are 7 bedrooms in the cottage, 3 with walk out access to the deck. This cottage fits everyone without anyone feeling crowded or having to sleep on the couch! There are additional sleeping quarters - a room off garage with three beds and a small bunkie with a queen bed.

All rooms have either a queen or king bed except one in the lower level that has bunk beds. There are also two small bunkies for additional sleeping capacity, one with a queen bed and the other with two double beds and a twin.

The main room is open concept, with sitting areas and beautiful views of the lake. In addition to the living room in the main floor, there are two other family rooms, allowing kids and teens to have their own space. One on the main floor and the second in the lower level with a walk out to the lake.

The recently renovated kitchen is both spacious and well equipped with a sub-zero fridge, microwave, oven, food processor, food mixer, espresso and Tasimo coffee maker and plenty of kitchen cooking supplies. We like to cook! There are two BBQs, one on the main deck and one by the lake dock. Tables inside and out are large enough for everyone to dine together.

Not only is it a great spot for swimming, fishing and water sports (2 kayaks, a paddle boat, paddle board, canoe and water matt included with rental), there is also a trampoline, dart board and plenty of room for outdoor games. And for those more interested in relaxing, a hammock and plenty of Muskoka chairs and loungers.

The main deck has plenty of room for the entire group to relax and enjoy the sun during the day and the over sized 12 foot outdoor table allows everyone to sit together comfortably for meals.

Unlimited Internet and satellite TV are included, great wireless reception throughout the property.

There are two indoor fireplaces (main room and family room), as well as an outdoor fire place on the main deck and a fire pit on the lawn. Lake side decks are perfect for evening sunsets.

The cottage is less than 2 hours from Toronto and only 10 minutes from great shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities in Lakefield and 20 minutes from Peterborough. Very convenient location, within walking to the conservation area with hiking trails, a short drive to many golf courses and biking paths.

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kelly (the owner) a message.

If Kelly (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
