Welcome! Perfect for friends, families or couples on a romantic getaway, Old Meadows Guest Cottage offers beautiful accommodation on a working heritage farm in the heart of Kelowna's historic lower mission. Minutes from wineries, golf courses, shopping, and beautiful beaches of Okanagan Lake, visitors will enjoy our brand-new heritage cottage, fully equipped with all amenities. While the cottage is self-catering, we do offer a Breakfast Basket which is available when booking for an additional $65 fee. Included are Summerland Sweets jams, butter, English muffins, 1/2 dozen eggs, 1 pound of bacon, 1 litre of Dutchmen Dairy milk, 1 litre of orange juice and locally baked goods. The Space: Enjoy beautiful accommodation finished and decorated with reclaimed woodwork, hardwood fir floors and beautiful antiques. The cottage has everything you need to make it your home away from home. From complimentary tea and coffee to cruiser bikes, all the extras are included. The cottage sleeps 4 adults and 2 children. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The master bedroom as an attached bathroom with a claw-foot soaker tub and 2 sinks. A travel crib or fold out mattress are provided on request. The cottage is located in the southwest corner of our farm adjacent to Gordon Drive creating a contrast of busy urban life behind you and rural farm life in front of you. The cottage faces east, looking across the farm meadows, taking full advantage of the beautiful scenery.

Guest Access: Old Meadows Guest Cottage offers beautiful accommodation in a location that is second to noce. For the comfort and safety of our guests and the Thomson Family who live on the farm, guests are only permitted on the Thomson Heritage Farm during a guided tour. Thank you for your understanding. We offer guided farm tours available to registered guests for a $75 fee. Please visit our website for more information. Safe and convenient off roadway biking starts at the farm and connects to sandy beaches, coffee shops, restaurants and shopping.10 of the Okanagan's finest wineries are within a 15 minute drive. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sarah (the owner) a message.

If Sarah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
