Description

Two bedroom 1300 square foot rental unit, in the front part of a duplex, located in the charming community of Kincardine and a quick three minute drive to Station Beach! Pull into the driveway (which is shared) and enter through the front of the cottage, across the patio, which brings you into the sunroom. The front and rear parts of the duplex each have a separate entrance, keeping the units independent of each other.

Entering into the bright sunroom, you'll find a multitude of windows to bring in the light and give you a view out to the front of the property. This sunroom has a rattan loveseat and chair and is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee and sit down for a chat.

Then head into the foyer where you'll find the stairs to the upper level and the hallway to the kitchen and living room on the main level.

The kitchen, living and dining areas are open concept. The living room offers cushioned seating and a 42" HD TV with cable for your entertainment. The kitchen provides many of the amenities of home including fridge/freezer, stove, oven, toaster, coffee maker and more (note: no microwave). The dining table sits just adjacent, and seats four for a sit-down meal together.

Head up the stairs to the second level where you will find the bathroom and the two bedrooms. The bathroom is a three-piece with a shower. The spacious master bedroom offers a queen size bed, while the other bedroom provides a double bed.

Outside is a propane BBQ, available for your use to cook up the perfect grilled feast. Each unit has its own BBQ, so you don't have to share.

Just down the road from the cottage, about 650 metres, is the Lion's Park - a community playground that is great for kids and has grassy space to run around. The downtown area is an easy walk or a quick two minute drive from the cottage, and you're also not far from the beach! Kincardine's main public beach - Station Beach - is located just 1.3 km from the property and is a short drive. There you can enjoy the sandy shores of this lovely beach, with gradual entry into the waters of Lake Huron and great swimming for all ages. Don't forget to enjoy a magnificent sunset view from the beach, or take a walk along the boardwalk.

In Kincardine you can take a walk through the quiet community, or hop in your car for a quick drive to everything that Kincardine has to offer - from its historic downtown to great restaurants, shopping, live theatre and more. On Saturday nights in summer, the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band Parade marches through the downtown from Victoria Park. As the parade passes by, be sure to join the townsfolk as they follow the band to enjoy a concert in the park!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
