Overview:

Do you want to spend a wonderful holiday in Greece (Cyclades), on a characteristic and still little-known island, easily reachable from Athens? Are you looking for peace, a wonderful sea and the possibility to practice sports, from trekking to diving? Are you ready to start a perfect escape exploring the amazing landscape and stroll around the beautiful villages of traditional architectures, the cobbled alleys, the picturesque churches? Are you looking for a place away from mass tourism, where even in high season you can find undisturbed beaches with fantastic sea?

25 minutes far from the port of Korissia with its restaurants-tavernas, shops and grocery stores, our Guest House is in the hills of Kampi-Kokkinada, with a wonderful sea view and surrounded by nature, perfect to enjoy the sun from morning to evening’s unforgettable sunsets, starry nights with a cool summer breeze.

The most beautiful beaches are just a few minutes from us: Koundouros, Kampi, Pisses, Liparo, Xila, Spathy and Sikamia.

The Guest-House:

Our Guest House has 2 bedrooms, a private veranda, a living-dining room, an equipped kitchen and a bathroom. We can accommodate up to 4 people (plus an additional guest, upon agreement and extra-cost). A small breakfast (coffee or tea, Orange juice, bread with butter and jam or honey, a fresh egg), will wait for you from 8:30 to 10:30.

There is ample parking space, plenty of room for kids to play and an outdoor shower with a view.

You will find plenty of restaurants and tavernas just a few minutes away from the house.

In 5 minutes car you can reach the old stone path, which leads to the ancient city of Karthea through a 40-minute scenic walk.

Services:

Larger breakfasts home-made with local products, lunches, aperitifs, dinners and cocktails are available on request with a separate extra price.

Boat trips around the Island or transfers to other Islands (Syros, Kithonos, ...) can be arranged for you, in co-operation with KeaDivers (Kea's Diving Center), at an agreed price and based on availability.

Diving excursions and diving courses are also available at pre-agreed cost. Diving holiday packages (Apartment + Diving/Courses) can be arranged on agreement.

Contact after booking can be made by Phone, e-mail or by the most common Instant Messenger applications (Skype, WhatsApp, Viber, Facetime).

On arrival, you will be welcomed by us. We can meet at Manussos Taverna in Kampi, 2 min away from the house, to lead you at home.

Car (or scooter) is necessary to move around Kea, 4x4 off-road vehicle is preferable if you wish to discover every nice corner/beach of the Island. If you don't have your own one, you can rent it directly in Athens International Airport (25 minutes from the Lavrio’s port). The Ferry costs around 30 EURO for the car transfer + 12 EURO for the one-way trip per person. The boat trip to Kea is 60-minutes long.

As alternative you can reach Lavrio’s port by Taxi (approx. 40 EURO) or by Bus (approx. 4 EURO).

In Lavrio, or directly on Kea at your arrival in Korissia, you can find “Leon-rent-a-car”. Checking their availability is strongly suggested in the high-season.

• use the shower’s water in moderation: we are on an island and water is not connected to the water network but comes from a large tank.

• use air-conditioning with closed windows and don't leave it on 24h or set it below 18°C (to not strain the engine).

• upon request, use the Wi-Fi basically just for emails and instant messaging communication (no video/music download or streaming please).

• smoke only outside the house.

• any damage caused during the stay, are charged to the guests

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Teo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
