A stone's throw from the Mont Grand Fonds mountain, at La Malbaie in Quebec, the symbiosis with nature is complete. All elements are present and intertwine in a wonderful setting. It is a haven of peace where the fresh air caresses the sides of the mountain and graze the leaves before filling your lungs. The activities are numerous because this locality offers the pleasures of the contact with the nature through hikes, close to the refreshing river Comporté; but also the discovery of traditional crafts. Nearby, the Grand Fonds ski resort puts winter sports in the spotlight. The Chalet Le TAO is an eco-responsible construction made in the rules of art using cedar of the region. To prolong this moment of well-being, a sauna is accessible indoors. The chalet opens onto a main room where the furniture creates spaces. The modern kitchen is open on the first living room bohemian. The dining room is ideal for enjoying a typical Quebec meal such as gourgan soup. The atmosphere is welcoming: the wood combines with wrought iron furniture and the staircase while the foyer of the living room offers a warm space. The architect endeavored to maintain perspectives by creating many openings on the surrounding nature. The second salon, more intimate, is an invitation to laziness that the sauna comes complete with its relaxing properties.
