The space

There are very few experiences in Vancouver like sleeping on a houseboat, very few houseboats available for vacation stays, and only one boat (that is a house) like ours.

Recently remodeled, we want our guests to enjoy a cozy romantic getaway on the water, with all of the independence that comes from staying in a vacation home away from home, but with the design touches of a boutique hotel.

Vancouver has the world's best combination of natural beauty (mountains, water, forests), museums and attractions, incredible food, beer, wine, and of course, coffee. When you book, we'll have great recommendations for you of places to eat and things to do. With no fewer than three ways to make coffee on our cozy boat, you'll have plenty of fuel for your adventures!

We put extra care into creating the coziest experience for your visit, with many spots to curl up with a book, or with a special someone. Stay within range of Vancouver's funkiest neighborhoods (Steveston Point), and a quick drive to downtown. We have the best food, best coffee, best beer, and great wine, plus a water lifestyle that you can’t find anywhere else.

Guest access

During your stay, you will have access to the entire boat (that is a house) and its amenities: kitchen, living space, two sleeping areas, bathroom, and lovely views of the harbour from our deck-lounge.

I will be showing you around the property so you feel excited and relaxed as this new experience washes of you! We are here to help you enjoy your stay on the water, and are happy to answer questions (txt's are welcome) any time to help you experience Vancouver the way it’s meant to be experienced.

Other things to note

This is a boat (that is a house) and the ladder to the upper deck is very manageable, but steep and not ideal for people with mobility issues.

We happily welcome people of all races, religions, sexual orientations, and ethnic groups.

We do have to note: no parties, smoking, or candles aboard the boat (that is a house) in the private and quiet marina. These rules are strictly enforced and subject to a fine, please see house rules.

Why can't I call Orianna (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Orianna (the owner) a message.

If Orianna (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
