Description

SEA SAND SUN..The perfect recipe for summer vacations especially when you can stay at The Blue Moon Studio Suite at Inn of the Sea Resort, right on the ocean, complete with a heated pool, and Jacuzzi, walk on waterfront, and our beautiful 3.5 acres of space.

The Studio Suite is a mini kitchenette, with a queen bed that sleeps 2 comfortably, a full bath, front and back balconies, and all the amenities on the property for your use. The kitchenette has a microwave and convection toaster oven, 2 stove burner, and all kitchen utensils. The studio is fully equipped and includes all linens, robes for the hot tub, and beach towels for the pool area. We have ocean view decks, tennis courts, playgrounds for kids and pets, and a deep sea dock to fish from, or sit on and watch the activities.

You can glimpse the otters playing in the water and from the deck, occasional sightings of Orcas swimming by or sea lions grunting nearby. You can hear eagles chortling and crows chasing seagulls away. We are right next door to Blue Heron Park where you can dig for clams, pick oysters, walk your pets and go on nature walks along the waterfront, tide permitting.

You can crab and fish from our 100 ft dock, and dock your boat if you bring one between May 15th and October 15th. We have mooring buoys for boats larger than 30 ft.

Let our place be your vacation home away from home, your base camp while visiting Vancouver Island, and the place to be in all seasons, summer or winter vacations, and romantic getaways.

While we are away from the crowds and in the forest, we are near enough to shopping with loads of other things to do in and around Ladysmith Nanaimo area, so come and stay and enjoy the ocean, the beauty and the peace. You are most welcome here!

There are house and ground rules in the suite when you arrive. Please review.
Smoking is allowed 9 meters away from all buildings. Not in units or on balconies.
If you bring boats we need to fill in a form and that can be signed once you arrive.
No glass of any kind in pool hot tub patio area, which means wine glasses, bottles, coffee cups, plates, beer or other glass bottles, etc.
Pets must be on a leash at all times on the property.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Rosalind (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
