Blacktail Cabin

Sometimes you just need a break from the onslaught of work and stress - why not share one with your family near the gorgeous shores of Montana's Flathead Lake? This lovely cabin will put you far, far away from your worries, while still allowing you to enjoy modern comforts and nearby activities like skiing, swimming, and more! Two dogs are welcome, too!

Less than two miles west of the town of Lakeside, you're just moments away from quaint businesses like Tamarack Brewing Company and Blacktail Family Goods. Despite your close proximity to town - and the nearby shores of the lake - your cabin feels nice and peaceful, surrounded by swaying pines that stretch far into the horizon.

Breathe in the mountain air as you admire the nature around you, before stepping inside from the deck to unwind. Floor-to-ceiling log-style woodwork, combined with rich leather furnishings and the warmth of the stone fireplace, create the atmosphere of a welcoming ski lodge. Take a seat on the couch or a nearby armchair and use the internet to upload photos of the incredible views. If wintertime weather is too chilly, snuggle up with your loved ones by the fireplace and take in satellite programming on the flatscreen TV.

When you're ready to turn fresh-bought ingredients into hearty meals, the kitchen will serve you well. Plenty of counterspace, along with stainless steel appliances, make cooking fun! Treat the kids to some snacks at the breakfast bar seating for four, before taking a seat at the nearby dining table for six to savor the main course. There's even a woodstove nearby to keep you nice and toasty!

Leave cleanup to the dishwasher and head off to bed. Two bedrooms and a loft upstairs, sleep a total of six guests. Two dogs are also welcome for a small nightly fee. Couples can enjoy either of two bedrooms. Or head upstairs to catch a good night's sleep in master-style loft's bed - there's even a private upstairs balcony. Bed choices include two queens and a king, meanwhile, kids can have the sofabed. Freshen up with a shower in either of the two baths and get ready to head out!

The Flathead Lake area is fantastic no matter what time of year you choose to visit. Summertime guests can head east to the lake itself, where swimming, fishing, and just relaxing at the shore await. Wintertime guests, meanwhile, can venture 12 miles westward towards Blacktail Mountain Ski Area. Spend your mornings and afternoons skiing and snowboarding down incredible pristine slopes, before heading back home to warm up in the evenings. Other nearby attractions include Volunteer Park in Lakeside and Westshore State Park, six miles south of Lakeside (fee required).

How do damage deposits work?
