A typical Breton farmhouse which has been tastefully restored including the original superb stone fireplace with wood burner, The Ground floor includes a welcoming comfortable open plan sitting room, dining area, fully fitted kitchen, double-bedroom and shower room/w/c. Roof beams, trusses and original stone walls are exposed throughout. lounge has a magnificent feature fire place and a "Prie-dieu" which was used by Pilgrims for washing and praying On the first floor there is an open-plan mezzanine leading to a large double bedroom with original Breton furnishings (and Lake View), two twin rooms and a further shower room/ w/c. Suitable for: Children, Elderly/infirm, Wheelchair accessible

The fitted kitchen is well equipped, has a gas full cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, coffee maker ect.

Living room

The cottage is equipped to a very high standard. Ground floors are open plan in the traditional Breton style. An open plan dining area with fitted kitchen and an open staircase to the first floor.

4 bedrooms, Two double and two twins. One of the bedrooms and a shower room are situated on the ground floor. External facilities The cottages are situated at the end of a leafy country lane with no passing traffic, nestling in 3 acres of land on the edge of the picturesque LAC DU DORDU. Barbecue, Boules pitch, solar heated Swimming Pool with lounges and parasols, Enclosed garden with garden furniture , Lake Views Private parking, There is a separate playing field for those boisterous ball games with entrance to the lake

Special features There is an added attraction of an original Breton Bread Oven in the grounds, gardens are well stocked and attractive. The extensive grounds afford the opportunity for quiet relaxation and contemplation. Guests can enjoy a quiet game of boules; explore the surrounding countryside on our cycles (we have cycles available) or on foot, WIFI available

The LAC DU DORDU is accessible directly from our grounds and includes, lakeside bar and children’s play area. Fishing at lake LAC DU DORDU has some large common carp, large Pike, tench perch and last season even some wild trout, and fishing permits can be purchased for a day for 4€ at the village bar, so why not try your luck at fishing and with a variety of bird life makes an idyllic retreat treat. Canoeing, rowing boats can be used on the lake but no motorized Local activities Driving is a pleasure on wonderfully quiet country roads which wind through beautiful tree lined valleys and sleepy villages. This is a fantastic area for cycling, rambling and bird watching. It is an artist’s paradise with wonderful light and a painting every time you turn around.

Locally we can offer Horse riding that is less than 10 min's away and a superb 9 hole golf course about 25 min's away, Quad Biking and the famous Lac de Guerledan with all manner of water sports and boat trips is 20 minutes away. The Nantes Brest canal is 15 minutes drive. The picturesque Guld de Morbihan is than an hour away, as are the historic towns of Anray, Vannes, Quimper and Josselin.

With so many coastlines, many leisure activities are focused on the water: sailing, surfing, canoeing, rowing, and sand yachting. For history fans, there are megaliths, château, museums, and medieval towns,

We are approx 15min away from the Nantes/Brest Canal, The famous Lac de Guerledan, with water sports, restaurants, beaches etc. is 20min away, and southern coastal beaches are less than an hour away. Historic towns of Vannes, Josselin, Auray & Quimper in just over an hour.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
