Tucked into the residential neighborhood of Ammoudi-Agia Pelagia on the island of Crete, this beautiful and modern vacation villa is situated close to the calm azure waters of Agia Pelagia, Made, and Lygaria. While you will appreciate this quiet location just 20 km from Heraklion, you'll be even more appreciative of this villa and its features for up to 9 guests.

★ The Space ★

Generously sized at 130 sq.m., the guest unit spreads across the ground floor and the first floor of the villa which accommodates up to ten guests. (The top level is a separate residence.)

On the ground floor, you will find a living room and dining room combination with a stone fireplace. The two sofas easily convert into beds to accommodate two children. The two sets of double doors lead you to the patio and charming gardens which surround the home. We encourage you to enjoy Crete's nice year-round climate!

The modern, fully equipped, and eat-in kitchen will attract even the most reluctant of chefs! The kitchen includes everything you need to prepare your meals including a modern stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, espresso machine, crockery, and cutlery. There is a kitchen table for six guests. We've thought of everything for your convenience!

Also found on the ground floor are a full bathroom, a sofa bed for one person, and a work desk.

First Floor:

There is a second living area with a fireplace and sofa bed on the first floor. You can enjoy a spacious veranda with views across the neighborhood. You can access this floor from an independent entrance.

The master bedroom with a king size bed is on the first floor. Another bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and while a third bedroom offers a single bed.

The villa features free WiFi, a DVD player, an extensive collection of films on DVD, and cable TV with more than 25 channels. There is air-conditioning in the living room, master bedroom and the communal area of the first floor.

Outdoor Space:

You can enter the house through the fenced-in gardens from your private parking space accessed through an electric gate. There is a communal BBQ area which has a grill, roasting spit, and traditional wood oven. (The BBQ is shared with guests of the top floor. )

★ LOCATION ★

The villa is located in a quiet residential area. The beach of Made is within walking distance (15 min down the hill). The beach of Agia Pelagia with its long sandy beach, restaurants, and shops is a few minutes’ drive from the property.

GETTING AROUND:

The easiest way to get around Crete is to rent a car. However, a public bus is available from Heraklion during the summer season, and the nearest bus stop is approximately 500m from the property.

AREA:

AGIA PELAGIA RESORT: This charming beach with its emerald waters offers an ideal landscape for snorkeling and scuba diving. You'll find a good selection of tavernas, cafes, beach bars along the beachfront. There are also supermarkets, souvenir shops, ATM, taxi stand, tourism office, and pharmacy.

MADES: This lovely beach popular with locals offers crystal clear, turquoise waters. It has been awarded a Blue Flag International Environmental symbol, recognizing it in 2017 as one of the world's cleanest and well-managed beaches.

LIGARIA BAY: This is a soft-sand beach with calm, warm waters. There is a fish tavern, mini market, cafe, and scuba diving center.

PSAROMOURΑ: One of the few beaches in the area not protected from the north winds. There are sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as a kiosk that offers drinks.

MONONAFTIS: This lovely, small cove just west of Agia Pelagia offers a sandy/pebble beach which is sheltered from the north winds.

PANTANASSA: Another beautiful, pebbled beach. There are with sunbeds, umbrellas, seafood tavernas, and a cafe.
