RESUME:

Original end-18th Century luminous apartment in old town Lisbon, with first line river view! All rooms have direct sun light through the day all year round!

It's located in the oldest and most charismatic neighbourhood of Lisboa (Alfama) right in front of the Fado music Museum and it has 3 facades which enable breath-taking views from the Tejo river to the top of Alfama's hill (some of which over small balconies).

THE SPACE:

The apartment has a tranquil ambience, relaxing views and its family orientated building makes it perfect for families (*), couples, business trips on short or even long stays.

It features 3 comfortable bedrooms up to 5 persons, one large living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen (incl. washer) and a complete WC.

(*) - Baby cot and high chair available upon request and at an extra cost.

ABOUT THE BEDROOMS:

The apartment has 3 bedrooms, all with amazing views:

- Bedroom #1 is the master bedroom. It's fitted with a double bed and it has two windows with city views;

- Bedroom #2 has two single beds (which if you desire can be placed together in order to make a large comfortable double bed) and view towards the city;

- Bedroom #3 has a single bed and river view. If this bedroom will not be in use, it will be turned into a second and smaller living room.

GUEST ACCESS:

As mostly everywhere in old town Lisbon, we want you to know that the apartment doesn’t have an elevator, but don’t worry as we’re there to help you up with your luggage and being on the 4th floor is worthwhile for its views and the "chill" they will provide you on your authentic Lisbon vacation!

APARTMENT LIVING / HOUSE RULES:

- You will be staying in a residential and family-oriented building. Consequently, it is expected you to respect your neighbours in terms of noise as you will be respected back;

- NO PARTIES OR NOISE WILL BE TOLERATED, ESPECIALLY AFTER 22:00 (10 p.m.). If breaking this house rule, we are afraid you may be invited out and without any refund;

- Smoking not allowed;

- You will find your apartment deeply cleaned and we trust you to leave it in the best possible way;

- Baby cot and high chair available upon request and at an extra cost;

- Although we advert check-in and check-out hours, please take them as standard as we are as flexible as possible to suit your arrival/departure times. In the case of having other guests arriving/departing on the same day, we may have to ask for your check-out to be made until 11:00 (11 a.m.) and/or for your check-in to be made from 15:00 (03 p.m.) onwards.

EXTRA FEES:

- A 260 € safety deposit is due to be paid (only) in cash upon arrival. At check-out, if everything is ok, the full amount will be given back to you;

- A CITY TAX of 2 € per person per night is applicable and payable at check-in and in cash only. This fee is mandatory by Lisbon city and is due up to a maximum of 7 nights and from persons aged +13 year-old (inclusive);

- If bringing any pet (1 pet max.) please inform us. An extra cleaning fee of 35 € is applicable (payable at check-in and in cash only, non-refundable).

OTHER OBSERVATIONS:

- Towels and bed linens are provided;

- Please let us know if you have any special requirements. We will be glad to help!

- Licensed apartment according to the Portuguese legislation under no. 31791/AL.

HOW TO MOVE AROUND: THE AREA: - The apartment is located in the plainest part of Alfama (the river side), in the rare case where the neighbourhood has car access. TRANSPORTATION: - Just outside, you can find taxis, buses and parking areas. The metro/underground & train station are only a short 5 minutes’ walk; - Private airport transfer and private tours can be provided at an extra cost. SERVICES: - Supermarkets, banks with ATM machines, great Portuguese food restaurants, bars and the best nightclub in Lisbon (called Lux) and a pharmacy are all within a short walking distance.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
