The oldest public elevator (completed 120 years this year 2012), is around the corner and you have other points of historic and cultural interest nearby. Also on the top of “Bica” you have the famous tramway nº 28.

Every year, the neighborhood of Bica attracts crowds of people of all ages to parties of the popular saints in June. During these festivities, the city adorned with colored ribbons and balloons, stalls are mounted outdoors, the atmosphere is buzzing with cheerful music and the choirs of popular marches, restaurants and vibrate with eager revelers accompanied by pitchers of sangria and fresh sardines from the coals.

Chiado is only step ahead. It’s well-known for its elegance of bookshops, style cafes, trendy restaurants, art novae jewelry shops and luxurious international shops that leads to the downtown of the city (Baixa). On the top of Bairro Alto, there is Principe Real quarter, a cool actual urban chic area known for its art galleries, fashion Vintage shops, a biologic market every Saturday morning inside of its shady garden and also gay bars are popular.

The riverside at Cais do Sodré or Praça do Comércio (one of the most iconic squares in the city facing the river) is a short 15 minutes away on foot.

The apartment offers self-catering facilities and free internet connection and can accommodate up to 6 guests at the moment.

It has one double bed in one bed-room, two single beds in another bedroom and one comfortable sofa-bed in the living-room.

This apartment has balconies with street view, soft and comfortable decoration
