At what feels like the end of the earth, this delightful Nova Scotian holiday home sits on an attractive 8-acre headland with 450' of dramatic ocean frontage. Shielded from the weather by a screen of artfully landscaped evergreens that capitalize on the view while maintaining a sense of privacy, Bramble Lane Cottage is the perfect location for a week of quiet solitude.

This simple yet charming Nova Scotia cottage has a functional layout with an open-concept living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. A twin bedroom and three piece bathroom with shower completes the downstairs floor plan. Upstairs is a master bedroom with a queen size bed and view of the ocean; a three-piece bathroom with an old-fashioned claw-foot bath and a media room with a TV, a DVD player and stereo. Comfortably furnished with an eclectic mix of old and new pieces, the cottage features a woodstove for warmth and ambiance and a cozy day bed in the corner of the living room. It's the perfect spot to while away the afternoon with a good book.

With the Atlantic Ocean at your doorstep, and the beautiful white sands and great surfing waves of Johnston's Pond Beach just a half-mile away, Bramble Lane Cottage is far from civilization, but close to nature. This oceanfront setting is beautiful in all weather conditions - from the idyllic tranquility of a calm blue-sky day to a stormy tempest with crashing waves, strong winds and overcast skies. Well off the "beaten path" and the "communications highway", Bramble Lane Cottage is truly a peaceful retreat.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I have been to the cottage and I am quite familiar with the property.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
