The Whimsical Wanakiwin is a beautiful year-round recreational retreat. A private home in a private community, set against a picturesque lake and woodland backdrop!

8 Room upscale lakeside lodge, impeccably decorated, rock fireplace, rustic white cedar log bedding, fully stocked, granite kitchen and dining room available. 55 inch Sony TV, movies, music, board games, and able to cater to children. Just 32 miles to 49 Degrees North Mountain Resort for all your winter activities. Casino, restaurant/bars also nearby after a day on the slopes; or just spend the weekend stargazing and relaxing by the fire with a glass of wine. You deserve it! Snowshoes and poles available for your use for venturing out the backdoor! Year-round recreational retreat we call paradise!

Fantastic Deer Lake home in a desirable private community, with 900 feet of sandy beach, a park, fire pit, dock and summer boat slip available. Why sacrifice just because you're at a lakeplace? All the creature comforts you desire and more! Beautifully, seasonally decorated for guests, with pillowtop mattresses, upscale bedding and furnishings. Private entrance, boasts a large family room, Sony TV, Wifi, fireplaces, 3 bedrooms, full bath with shower and double sinks, and the wrap around covered decks provide plenty of room to relax outside.

Fully stocked, custom granite kitchen and dining room available. We cater to birthdays, anniversaries, or other special family events, and will take care of as much of the details you desire!

Just a one minute walk to beach where you can sit on the dock, fish, ski, swim, or just watch incredible sunsets next to your own fire ring on the beach. Bring your personal boat, paddle boards, or kayak, or welcome to use of our water floaters, life jackets, and sand toys! Summer allows full use of boat launch and boat slip and over 1000 acres of one of the cleanest lakes to enjoy.

Perfect snow ski chalet in winter, you're just 35 minutes to 49 Degrees North Moutain Resort for your downhill or cross-country treks! Loaded with over 2300 acres of lift access mountain, special events, and runs for ALL levels with beautiful views! There's even an incredible ski school for all ages, and look for Santa to visit during the holidays!

After a day on the slopes, stop at the Chewelah Casino on your way back to win some money, and enjoy Braised Beef Ribs, or one of the other nightly specials. Families can enjoy a host of board games, or quiet time by the fireplace before you snuggle in for the night, as your beds were prewarmed with the electric blankets. We take care of even our littlest guests--and can provide a modern crib and bedding in your room, if you have new little one!

How do damage deposits work?

If CJ (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
