Description

You will find us on the West Bank of Luxor, a little outside the village of El Jorf. Luxor West Bank is the green, quiet and relaxing side of Luxor, far from the hustle and bustle of Luxor City. Even though, the Nile and the Ferry to the East Bank are a mere 25 minutes walk away. Or you book a taxi - very easy and cheap as well.

The advertised two-bedroom apartment is situated on the second floor. It has a big open living and dining area with kitchen, two bedrooms with balconies and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. Furthermore there is a huge terrace, taking up the whole length of the house, which overlooks the beautiful rural landscape.

Swimming pool, garden, courtyard and roof terrace are partially roofed and available for all our guests. Each one of the spacious holiday apartments is situated on a separate floor, so that your privacy is guaranteed even if we are fully booked.

Villa Kaslan is a three storey villa with 24-hour-security. We live there too, so someone is always available to hand over the key, in case of problems or requests.

The property lies very privately in the middle of date palms, banana plantations, sugar cane- and wheat-fields on the West Bank of Luxor. In the property itself there are a lot of flowers, bushes, lime-, mandarin- and papaya-trees, peppermints, basils... The tranquillity on site is only interrupted by the chirping of the birds during the day and the humming of the crickets in the evening.

Despite the quiet location it only takes 20 minutes by foot to arrive in the village of El Gazeera with its bakeries, grocery stores, pharmacies, supermarket, Internet-shops, restaurant and so on. In the same place you will find the ferry, which will take you directly in front of Luxor Temple. Feluccas and motorboats are available as well. If you don't want to walk or don't have the time, it is quite easy - and cheap - to hire a taxi to pick you up in Villa Kaslan and drive you to the Nile.

Even closer than the Nile are most of the archaeological sits, for which Luxor is rightly famous. The Valley of the Kings, Medinet-Habu-Temple, the Ramesseum, Colossi of Memnon, Tombs of the Nobles, Hatshepsut Temple and, and, and. All reachable within a few minutes by car. We gladly help you plan your excursions and organise a car and a guide to explain the amazing history behind the monuments.

How do damage deposits work?
