A designer furnished two bedroom, two storey bijoux 'town house' known as Solent Haven, which forms part of an historic Grade II listed building built in 1830 for the mayor and sleeps up to four people. The property has an enclosed large south facing sun terrace for alfresco dining, with views towards the Solent and Isle of Wight.

Located right in the middle of Lymington town centre, the property benefits from secure parking accessed through electric gates. Situated towards the top end of this historic High Street, guests can take advantage of an eclectic mix of independent shops and boutiques, as well as the popular market on Saturdays.

Renowned as a sailing resort, Lymington appeals to all generations, couples and families looking for a touch of coastal magic, set within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Amazing holiday. Lymington is a beautiful place and the surrounding area of the New Forest has plenty to offer. Our apartment was lovely and I would certainly recommend it. The décor was tasteful, it was extremely clean and tidy, it had everything you need and some special little touches. The views from the roof terrace were spectacular.

“Best holiday in England for years”

Property was superbly located on the High Street just right to watch the world go by but also central to the restaurants, cafes and pubs, harbour and marinas. Loads to see, New Forest attractions, local beaches, also nearby Southampton and Bournemouth. The flat was lovely, clean and modern with everything you could possibly need. Loved the super king bed, was so comfy. Large sun terrace had a lot of use whilst we were there as the weather couldn’t have been better. Another nice touch was the bottle of Prosecco on arrival. No worries too about parking thanks to the secure parking space at the flat. In all I have to say this holiday was one of the best ever for my husband and I. We look forward to returning to Solent House in the future.

“Snug with a view”

We stayed here over the Christmas holiday period and it was ideal. The accommodation was lovely and warm and finished to a very high standard and a super king bed which we loved as we have one at home. It is perfectly positioned as if you dont want to get the car out. You can cycle or walk from your doorstep and find plenty to see, and dont forget the beautiful little shops within touching distance.

This accommodation is beautifully decorated & has everything you can think of, making it more like home. It is spotlessly clean. It was easy to book & Ella was available for any questions. No problems on arrival all the details we needed had been sent prior to our visit. It is situated in the middle of the High Street & has secure parking, which is great. Plenty of shops, bars & restaurants nearby. If you choose to cook then you have everything you need in the well equipped kitchen. It has a lovely terrace & we were very fortunate to have great weather during our stay, so made full use of the table & chairs! A much welcome bottle of Prosecco was waiting on our arrival, which was lovely. Thank you Ella, you have thought of everything for your guests.

We have recently returned from a short break at Solent Haven. The apartment was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean,well equipped and in a fantastic location to explore all of the sights of the New Forest. The owners were prompt and helpful with all communications. We would thoroughly recommend the apartment and hope to return in the future.

“A delightful town house at the centre of everything”

Light and airy, modern, with all essentials you could need. One of the cleanest apartments we have been to (a tribute to the cleaner).. Right on the edge of the New Forest with plenty of walks, and the coastal paths of the Solent. Plenty of good restaurants within easy reach, with a few within walking distance in the town itself. Would recommend to anyone who likes walking and dining out.

Solent Haven was just what we needed for a few days away..the house is beautifully furnished, big comfy beds, and very well equipped.. Town was great, plenty of restaurants to choose from and in walking distance. The terrace is a good place to sit and read, eat and drink,and gorgeously sunny in the mornings.! Plenty of places to visit, pretty villages, Beaulieu house and gardens, and of course the cars! ' 'Buckler's Hard ' on a sunny day was lovely (good pub food) and a very interesting bit of Naval History.. Will definitely return, so much we did not get areound to seeing..

I last visited Lymington as a child so you can imagine my delight to find this charming little house right in the town centre. The car parking space was a real bonus and we were lucky with the weather to be able to enjoy the wonderful patio area. It’s clearly evident there’s been a lot of thought which has gone into the décor … it’s much more of a home than a holiday let with every mod con and extremely well equipped. We’ll definitely be going back … Lymington certainly offers the best of everything with the New Forest on the doorstep yet being by the seaside … a little gem.

Lymington is a great location from which to explore the New Forest and the south coast. My wife and I had a wonderful holiday and the town house was very comfortable and very tastefully decorated . It was spotlessly clean and newly fitted with everything we needed. We particularly liked having our own parking space and the terrace in the sun was very peaceful.

If Ella (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
