Tucked away in a quiet street with grazing ponies and the open forest on the doorstep, and just a short stroll from the lively centre of Lyndhurst village, Willow Wood offers a cosy holiday retreat for couples and families.

This stylish period cottage is equipped to a very high standard, combining modern conveniences with character and comfort.

Relax in front of the wood burner in the living room or settle down in the bright conservatory overlooking the garden after a day exploring the delights of the New Forest and surrounding area. Rustle up meals in the well equipped galley kitchen and enjoy eating together in the comfortable dining room seating six people.

The living room and conservatory are equipped with wall mounted smart TVs while an Amazon Fire tablet makes it easy to stream Netflix, iPlayer, 4OD and many more – perfect for rainy day entertainment!

The striking master bedroom and en-suite is on the ground floor as well as the family bathroom, and a further two bedrooms are located on the first floor.

I always try to meet our guests in person on arrival to welcome you, give you a quick show-round and answer any questions about the cottage and local facilities. As I only live 15 minutes away, I can easily be on hand to help out with any issues and am happy to be available by phone for any queries.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Lesley (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
