Description

Two level, Nantucket style chic and modern home, fully remodeled in 2011. All new wood floors and kitchen cabinets and marble counters installed in March 2015. Located directly on the sand on what is essentially a private beach (there is no public access). Upper deck has a built in bench, lounge chairs, and a stainless steel gas bbq. Lower deck has 15 foot long built in bench with cushions, a large dining table which seats 10, hot tub, outdoor refrigerator, heated shower and floating daybed. Relax and watch the sunset on the two lifeguard chairs situated on the lower deck. This house offers two bedrooms with queen beds and large flat screen TVs and a third bedroom with full-sized bunk beds, each with their own TV. Also included are state of the art kitchen appliances, FIOS with hundreds of channels, large walk-in master closet, WiFi, washer and dryer, security system, and Sonos 4-zone stereo system which allows you to play different music in each zone and at different volume level (including upper and lower decks). You can surf, boogie board, and paddle board right on our beach and, at low tide, you can explore the tide pools and go for walks along the beach.* House is just minutes away from Malibu Country Mart/Malibu Pier, Santa Monica Pier, 3rd Street Promenade, and lots of great restaurants and shopping.

* Our house is located on a wet/dry beach. That means that during high tide, the water does come up to the house. Also, during times of really high surf, some of the sand can be washed away, leaving the beach rocky. This condition does resolve but it can take anywhere from a day or two up to a couple weeks.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
