Description

A lovely 3 bedroom spacious apartment with large communal pool. From the balcony there are views of the pool and golf course to La Manga in the distance.. Luxury living on a wonderful 5 star resort. Satelite TV with All English channels plus Spanish/French/German and Blue Ray DVD player. Fully equipped kitchen. Situated in one of Murcia's top 18 hole golf resorts.

10 short minutes from San Javier airport or an hour to Alicante the resort is reached easily by car or indeed airport transfer for shorter stays.

Los Alcazares is the local beach Resort located on a salt water lagoon, and has maintained its spanish character whilst accommodating the holiday groups well. With a multitude of entertainment facilities and restaurants

The Resort itself has a 5 star Hotel, Intercontinental, and has restaurants and bars within its domain. An Irish theme bar has been added to the hotel premises. A Golf pro shop, bar and a Spa completes the Hotel offerings. Book a great day or half day treatment and use the indoor heated pool. Or pay to use the outdoor pool which looks over the 18th hole.

There is also a supermarket, and bank and a new part of the resort built to accommodate the new 18 holes, has opened several bars and restaurants. Outside the resort Cartagena is the local City, with a mass of shops and also an old port, that still works today, which is 20 minutes away by car. You can enjoy boat trips from here as well as shopping within 2 areas, one within the town and a new mall style on the outside of the city.

Murcia City is a beautiful Cathedral City, and has cosmopolitan shops, places of historical interest and many restaurants to savour. On the outskirts of the city a very large shopping area has been built to include many of the names you would know at home, IKEA, Toys R Us, Primark as well as spanish brands Eroski and the larger French owner Carrefour. Many more shops are available as well as traditional Spanish shops which are plentiful too for a different gift or a treat. On the outskirts a water park/zoo also.

Nearby you can horse ride, use the fabulous Mar Menor for individual, water sports or sailing or simply enjoy the vast beaches

“Great spacious apartment in a nice area”

The apartment is situated in Mar Menor Golf resort , a rather big resort. Each cluster of buildings has its own swimming pools and we used the one outside the apartment quite a lot. The apartment had good space, three nice bedrooms and to bathrooms and a big balcony overlooking the swimming pool outside. We enjoyed our stay and everything was up to our expectations. We recommend this area f.ex. for golf families. The area is kids friendly and plenty of things to do. It is however necessary to have a car to make the most of the stay.
