Description

Umvangazi Rest – Relax under the African Kiaat Tree - Our tranquil home is situated in Marloth Park, a nature conservancy bordering the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park. Warthogs, bucks, zebras and giraffes roam freely between the houses. From viewing points you overlook the Kruger National Park where various animal species can be spotted. Visitors can also visit Lionspruit Private Game Reserve which is situated within the Park.

Come and enjoy a relaxing, rejuvenating and peaceful setting in the bushveld. Umvangazi Rest is a self-catering house accommodating up to a maximum of 8 people. It has an open plan kitchen, which is fully equipped, and lounge area leading out onto a patio. Whilst relaxing outside, you can enjoy a braai/barbeque or take a swim to cool off in the splash pool. Keep an eye out for the animals coming for a drink at the water holes closely situated to the house.

Two bedrooms are situated on ground floor, each with a double bed. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Upstairs is the loft bedroom with a double bed and two single beds. All bedrooms have air-conditioning. Both the loft bedroom and second bedroom share a bathroom which has a shower and kiddies bath.

There are many things to do in and around Marloth Park. Plan a day trip to the Kruger National Park, with the Malelane or Crocodile Bridge gates being in close proximity. Bring along your passports and visit our neighbouring countries of Mozambique and Swaziland. Have a sundowner or picnic at one of the lookout points along the banks of the Crocodile River.

A shopping centre is situated within Marloth Park for your essentials and includes a garage, restaurant, deli, bottle store, laundry, hardware, bakery and butchery.

Getting around

We recommend that you use your own vehicle or ensure you book a car hire when visiting Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park. Self drives are the best and most convenient way to view game throughout the game reserve.

How do damage deposits work?
