Description

Our Marrakech home is a spacious villa which we spent 3 years carefully restoring in a sumptuous yet comfortable Moroccan style, having fallen in love with the setting. The house sits in established gardens of just over 1 hectare, among an olive grove, with orange, lemon and pomegranate trees, flowerbeds full of roses and palms. There is a large swimming pool, and several terraces which provide views of the snow-capped Atlas mountains. The house is in a rural area but only 20 minutes from both the medina and airport. The villa is fully staffed, with a maid, two gardeners, and a cook who can prepare fresh local food daily. She can even go to the shops before you arrive to pick up food for your stay (at cost) to make it a proper pholiday...We can also provide an English speaking driver to pick you up at the airport and look after you for the duration of your holiday if you wish. Inside there are 4 bedrooms, a large salon with two seating areas and a big fireplace, a dining room, also with fireplace and a separate TV/games room. All the bedrooms are ensuite and have luxury bedding, and private balconies, and all the bathrooms have showers and baths. Upstairs there is also a separate large roof terrace with sofas and cushions and views over the garden and Atlas mountains. Outside is a large terrace, with a dining table and seating facing a Moroccan tiled fountain, and in the gardens are several separate seating areas organised to capture the best sun! The house & gardens are well set up for children, with a trampoline, table tennis, swings and a gated swimming pool. The nearest golf course is 5 minutes away. The house also comes with a dedicated fibre line for super fast and reliable WiFi internet.

Given its rural location you either need a car or to use a driver (who we can recommend).

Interaction with guest

We can organise a very good and trusted driver to pick you up at the airport and take you to the villa. He is also available for tours and excursions during your stay. We also have a lovely Irish lady who will check you in and explain the villa when you arrive. At the villa is a cook (Khadija) and a maid (Aicha) as well as two gardeners. Khadija cooks a variety of moroccan and international dishes and both she and Aicha will do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible!

How do damage deposits work?

If Chris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
