Description

Our “Retreat Center” is a private cabin that can accommodate groups of up to 52 people in comfort. It is situated along the shores of Lake Mercier in Mont Tremblant. The cabin is part of a summer camp of 28 Acres and it is rented out when the summer camp is closed (Sept to end of June). Not only do you get a cabin which is perfect for large families or groups, you get outdoor access to the ENTIRE 28 ACRES OF THE CAMP. Perfect for all kinds of activities.

Standard rate is $50/per person/night + tax with a a minimum rental of $2000 + tax. (So the first 20 people are covered for 2 nights with the minimum rental)

We also offer the option of using the regular cabins, the camp has 12 of them and we can accomodate an additional 144 people (12/cabin) in the regular cabins. (Option not available from mid-October to End of April). Contact us for more info.

Our current guests come from all walks of life. From large, extended families looking to have a relaxing weekend and want the space we offer to large university groups with organized activities. Our retreat center is a basic 'cabin in the woods' yet offers all the amenities you would want for your comfort: a full kitchen, running hot water, electric heating, etc. It is not luxury but it is clean, very very cozy and spacious!

You get access to the main floor which has 3 extra-large bedrooms with bunk beds for 20 people in total. It has one large living room with a fireplace, four couches and an open concept kitchen. For groups with more than 20 people we open up our basement floor which has an additional 4 bedrooms with 30 beds and a separate entrance.

In addition (weather permitting) you get:

-28 acres of nature, hiking trails, streams and a mini waterfall!

- tennis courts - built on a plateau surrounded by trees with georgeous views of the surrounding mountains

- a sports centre - in middle of the forest, surrounded by trees on a gentle slope overlooking a river, full sized multi-purpose surface for floor hockey, basketball, etc.

- a private 600 foot long beach on Lake Mercier with a

-Gas BBQ

- an outdoor sports field with seating for everyone

- firewood included for bonfire (3 bonfire pits; on beach, next to cabin and sportsfield)

- WiFi

Guests will be greeted upon arrival and shown the property. The 28 acres is exclusively for your group to enjoy. A handyman is available on-call for any requests that may arise during your stay.

We are situated just an 8 minute drive from Mont-Tremblant, Quebec's largest ski hill. The area offers lots of activities for all ages, and during all seasons. For a complete list check the Tremblant tourism website.

Taxi service to the ski hill is approximately $20. Otherwise you can walk to the local bus stop which is 15 minutes walk and take the local bus for $2.50. The local town is a 30 minute walk or a 3 minute drive around the lake.

Important:

- you need to bring your own towels, pillows and sheets, the bunk beds come with a mattress only

-this cabin does not have a dining room. Meals are therefore served buffet style on the kitchen counter and people eat with their plates on the couch using the coffee tables or their laps. The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans etc...but you must bring your own disposable plates, cups and cutlery and paper towels
